Apocalypse Official Apocalypse Blu-Ray/DVD thread

Who said there was any i guess

The part where she stabbed the sword between Beast's toes wasn't in the finished film so there is almost certainly an extended fight scene. She has the sword after landing from cutting the car in two then the sword is just gone in the next scene and she is using psychic whips.

gosh, this Storm deleted scene is so crucial. I cannot believe they cut it to give the horsemen at least a spark of understandable motivation. :loco: Although this scene also problematically produces the evil, superstitious 'oriental' Other. Maybe not getting any motivation is better than producing these old, hurtful stereotypes of Muslim countries...?!

I really liked that Storm/Xavier scene, gave a nice little bit of backstory to Storm. Pity it didn't make it in.

they should not of cut storm/xavier scene it literally would of added 1 min. of screen time

Sinister could be in Wolverine 3 and Singer wanted a teaser for Deadpool 2 in XA.
I can feel Sinister being central in Deadpool 2, X-Men 90 and X Force :sly:.

All deleted scene are great and important (expect Moira). You can feel Singer's style in those scene and it remind me X1.
Seriously, you can't say Cyclop, Jean, Nightcrawler haven't personalities, they look so real like X1 :csad:.

Man, I feel like this movie really deserves and complete edition. Some of these scenes should really be in the movie. I don't know what they were thinking.

If I had the skills for this, I'd make a extended version of this movie by putting on scenes in place where they should be.

True, scenes with Scott/Beast or Scott/Havok are pure gold. I love the way they are shoot, fluid and classy. I feel sad :/.
In fact, XA editing is very fast and not like Singer others movies.

Yes. I'm still hoping they make an extended version for next year. It would be a way to hype out for the Wolverine 3 movie.

I'm glad these scenes are available on the Blu Ray, but little character building moments like this are what Apocalypse needed. As much as I liked the movie, I think the best moments came from the interaction between the younger X-Men.

that's exactly why this movie would benefit from an extended edition

I LOVED the mall scene. (Like I totally get why it was deleted tho) But it was really really great.

Man, I can't believe they went through the trouble of making these great costumes...just for them to only be shown for one minute of film time. it was a cool way to end the film but come on, man!

indeed, only one quick minute that would have given Apocalypse's horsemen at least a framework for their actions: they want to revenge their marginalized position in society as mutants by giving in to their anger and rage...Storm's decision to attack Apocalypse in the end felt so sudden and causeless after she watched unemotionally Apocalypse killing hundreds before. :csad: ugh, what a waste!!!

Has there been any commentary/explanation as to why that Storm and Xavier scene was cut? Or any of the other deleted scenes for that matter?

Singer says it is mostly pacing or film was too long.let's remmeber apocalypse was 2 hours and 23 minutes long from logo to post credit scene.

The movie should have been 3 hours long. I'm guessing only The Lord of the Rings have the balls to be 3 hours movie in the theater.

Singer doesn't want the audience to get bored so he tries to keep the story moving which means some things have to go.

Scott and Alex in his room and the Xavier/Strom scene should have definitely stayed.

When is the UK release date for this? Keep checking Amazon but nothing about a date yet.
