Definitely! There was no way something like this was supposed to work. Even the first Avengers was too much of a concept for many people.
It is crazy when you think back to phase 1 and attending those movies. I was excited for Iron Man 1 but didn't know what to expect, I don't even know why I stayed past the credits but I did. When Fury showed up and mentioned the Avengers I thought no way. I wasn't on message boards as much back then. IMDB was the only message board I used but I didn't post much until after Avengers 1. Feige did what no person dared to do and create a whole universe connecting movies. He didn't rely on big name stars or directors really. Just a good team.I still feel like a lot of people underestimate and belittle all of that work Feige and co have done, just because "it's superhero", or that they don't take too much risks. Like, what they've done was historical. It was really hard to make it work, and it was all a huge risk.
Now that it's been achieved many forget how crazy all this seemed back then. The success has been normalised and doing the impossible - like doing so well with properties that many had never heard of like Guardians, and crossing over first a regular sized team of heroes with their own franchises (already deemed something that couldn't work - and why JL never got greenlit all that time), and now something far more ridiculous crossing over a decade's worth of characters over more than 20 films - all of this now is assessed as if it is a normal undertaking rather than one of the most difficult things attempted in blockbuster history. It is crazy when you think back to phase 1 and attending those movies. Yes, this is something special. And the rare thing is that after the breakout moment (Avengers for the MCU), there has been consistency that has allowed further breakout moments along the way. The other franchises have all lived to see their name tarnished to some extent by future works, but so far the MCU has improved its achievement by much of what has come after the original Avengers.Even now 10 years later, I still feel that what Feige and all the team at Marvel Studios did was nothing short of a miracle. They pretty much revolutionized the way we envision movies now a days. Not going on any particular movie, but I do feel that every couple of years a movie or movie franchise comes and just blows eveey preconception you had wide open.. Star Wars, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, and the MCU. Hats of to you guys Feige and co.
Now... of to get my kleenexes and anti-depresssant prescription and Im ready for the Endgame![]()
Does anyone think the Russo brothers were a bit dramatic when they said the title is a bit spoilery ?
Kevin Feige has said this would be the culmination of the last 10/11 years, and i think the writers or maybe the Russo's said it's a new story.
Maybe they were a bit dramatic. Or maybe it's to build hype.
I think it was more that the Russos didnt want people to know that the "Snapture" was not the end all. If fans knew that the real, true "Endgame" was coming after IW, how overwhelming would the "Snapture" be. So they was trying to preserve the shock value of the incident.Does anyone think the Russo brothers were a bit dramatic when they said the title is a bit spoilery ?

He’ll still want to see it again in IMAX though.I actually thought the title was horrible initially, until I remembered it was the line used by Dr.Strange.
Just think, Dr. Strange has ready seen the movie in one of his outcome possibilities!
I admit I might be misunderstanding @Infinity9999x 's original post, but the way I read it was that they removed her from life support and after removing her from life support she didn't immediately sucumb... she lasted another 10 days or so (so at the point of no longer providing fluids, the hospital at that point was NOT keeping her heart and lungs working/they were no longer taking any life saving measures)
Again, Infinity can correct me if I misunderstood their original post.

Space. You had to use that as your example.A quick google search will show you how many people have resorted to hunger and thirst strike and lasted more than four days before any intervention and they were still alive. In general 3-4 days are the limits and likely you won’t be talking sensibly but it varies it is not impossible that some people to be able to endure a little longer. The environment is also a factor on how much body liquid you lose. Like in a hot desert you will go down faster without water than a cool place like, say, space.
Thanos shanked Tony in the belly. He probably didn't expect him to survive. So I just had a funny thought. Thanos’ whole plan was to cut 50% of the universes population so that people had full bellies...but poor Tony Stark is hurdling across space with absolutely no food or water.Great job Thanos!

He was just trying to create more space there for more food.Thanos shanked Tony in the belly. He probably didn't expect him to survive.
