Exactly. If it starts filming in September "21 then it can and will be released in '22

That would be awesome
Guarrdians is full off vfx...u need more time than that to complete it,there's no way...

They start filming Suicide Squad in the Fall and then Gunn is on his way to film Vol3. They'll probably be filming it in about a year from now. That gives them time for it to be released in May of '21

Since Thor and Carol aren't with the rest of the crew during the power walk, I assume that they're going to be flying on their own power? Carol I get, but I don't know if Thor can do that.

Can't he use Stormbreaker to summon the bifrost?

Great, now I have to watch AOU. Thanks, bruh. Really should buy Civil War, and then Ragnarok and Black Panther when Netflix stops showing them.

:D You weren't planning to do a full MCU marathon before the culmination of it??

Maybe...

Carol, Thor and Rocket are on a separate mission by that time? Possibly with Valkyrie, if she's in the movie?

That would be a space force type of group.

That might make sense.

Hello everyone. I'm a newcomer on this forum, but I've been an MCU fan since it started in 2008.

I've been watching a lot of YouTube speculation videos, reading comments etc. and I wanted to share my speculations and thoughts about currently established speculations for Avengers Endgame. Feel free to snowball this post, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

1. Endgame will be better than Infinity War

I'm sorry, but I disagree. People these days are shallow and they don't even know it. I'll explain. People today (and especially younger people) don't want cheesy/cliche/predictable movies or movie outcomes, yet they prove otherwise with their own statements CONSTANTLY, in MCU movies more than anywhere else.

The sole reason why Endgame can't be better than IW is because IW had the luxury of being unpredictable and had (finally) the villain win for a change. Endgame, we know (unfortunately because of Far From Home trailer etc.) will be the same old cliche MCU movie like any other MCU movie so far EXCEPT Infinity War because we know the good guys will win again and completely demolish the fantastic ending that Infinity War had. Good guys winning is the definition of cliche. The only way Endgame can be better than Infinity War is if the good guys don't win in the end and it is revealed that all the snapped people ended up in an alternative universe which doesn't contain any of the characters who weren't snapped in this universe. But, Hollywood writers don't have the balls to do that unfortunately.

2. Cap and Tony surviving Endgame and retiring

In my opinion, it's very sad that people keep wanting this and actually would be ok with this happening.

Cap and Tony HAVE TO die in Endgame because Endgame is the grand finale of the whole 11 year build-up of the MCU so far. To have them survive this and retire would be very underwhelming, cliche and predictable, amateurish even. It will already be cliche, predictable and amateurish when the heroes win in the end (because we all know they will). Plot armor has to be thrown out the window in a grand finale like this. Not only that Cap and Tony need to die, but also several more key characters for many different reasons.

Black Widow absolutely needs to die. It would serve as a great way for Hulk to evolve. Her dying in front of Banner and having Hulk evolve, become stronger and have a rematch against Thanos would be the way to go, but unfortunately, they won't do it.

Ronin and Rhodes need to die because they are expendable and one of the weakest characters in the whole MCU. Since they are going with the sub-romance thing between Black Widow and Ronin, Ronin's death would definitely serve the purpose of Black Widow trying to avenge him and dying in the process.

Nebula has to die in an attempt to avenge Gamora and because pretty much after our heroes win, her story arc will become a full circle.

I speculate/wish that everyone who said ''Whatever it takes'' in the newest trailer will die in Endgame and I hope it's true because that would be Cap, Tony, Black Widow and Ronin. I'm 99,9% sure the Russos won't have the balls to do it.

3. Speculation/leak that the plot is about the Avengers copying the stones and making their own gauntlet to wield the copied stones

This one is absolute horse**** unfortunately. If this ends up being true (because at this point, it seems it is), it will be the most ridiculous way to end the current MCU arc. I hope the Russos are smarter than going with the amateur stone copying plot. The Infinity Stones are 6 singularities and considered to be the most powerful objects in the universe with unmatched power. And they are just going to... copy them? Really? You can't copy singularities - period. And you especially can't have those copies be as powerful as the original stones (because the leak also says that they bring everyone back with those copied stones). If that comes to be true, not only will Endgame be much worse than Infinity War, it will be among the worst MCU movies of all time because of how amateur the said plot is. I really hope this one isn't true.

These are my two cents for now.

I seriously hope Black Widow doesn’t die just to further Banner’s story.

I guarantee there will be a few cameos from other movies, especially if this is the last hurrah for a lot of them.

If Betty Ross shows up, I will scream.

I love her (and TIH and Norton-Banner)

Come at me, Ruffalo bros! :o

That was totally unexpected and he really improved that whole scene for me.

That has to be a set-up for something in this movie, I would think. Or at least that was my impression at the time. I still think so. Some part of Cap's arc, maybe.

Nah they were just throwing a bone to Trump supporters who were really hoping to see a Nazi again.

Personally I'd love a cameo from Hela. Also it's interesting that the Russos, when asked in an interview about whether some supporting characters were dusted or not, and the interviewer brought up Jane Foster, the Russos said that would be too spoilery to asnwer.:hmm

In Ragnarok, Thor mentions that she dumped him. I really think the character is kind of done. Maybe a shot of her during a flashback?

QFT

I wouldn't put AOU in my top five MCU movies, though. It would go 1. TWS 2. IF 3. CW 4. Ragnarok 5. Iron Man. The Guardians movies and AOU would round out my top 8.

Speaking of Endgame, I hope nothing else is shown of Thanos, and Hulk continues to be scarce. It'll make their scenes that much more impactful.
I respect your list man but I cant put ragnarok anywhere close to the top. Not a fan of how it makes fun of thor and his world. Jokes are fine but not at the expense of the character and world. I do like how they made thor more powerful though.

Beats me. Maybe with her being a physicist and knowing about quantum physics (in TDW she recognizes the Soul Forge as a quantum field generator), they ask her to help them travel through the quantum realm.

Even though they broke up, Thor did love her, so he probably checks in to see whether or not she got dusted. She doesn't need to appear on screen for that, just a conversation of "She's safe", or "She's dusted" should suffice.

The follow-up in Endgame writes itself.

Cap's old enemy being the soul stone guardian just seems awfully convenient. I'll be surprised if they don't revisit that.

Welcome to the Hype! I agree with your 2nd post about Cap and Tony HAVING to die... though I find highly unlikely that they kill both, ONE of them has to, no doubt about it. My money is on Cap. Window isn't going anywhere... not with her solo film in the works.

They might but I’m not sure. I kinda feel like it was a one-off sorta thing just to wrap up a loose end. I think if we were going to see him again they wouldn’t have just hired a guy to do a Hugo Weaving impression.

Thor: "Can you use your technology to check on Jane Foster for me?"
Natasha: "Sure. Oh...She's dusted."
