Seems to be a pretty common thing now, yeah.

But take the Fox stuff on the whole, it's still like 4 awesome, 2 ****ty, and a couple nothing-amazing-but-fine. That ratio's not really any different to the MCU, and it's besting the DCEU stuff so far.

It really annoys me how people are revising movie history to brand the entire X-Men movie series as garbage, when the reality is far more complex.

I don't quite agree with you on the first X-Men movie being "awesome" since there's a fair amount in it that doesn't hold up that well ("You know what happens to a toad when it gets hit by lightning?"), but it's still entertaining. But X2, First Class and DOFP are easily as good as Avengers, Civil War or Infinity War (my three favourite MCU flicks) and I would argue that Logan is objectively better than any MCU movie.

That being said, while the Fox-Verse has had similar (or even higher) highs to the MCU, its lows have undoubtedly been lower. IMO, Apocalypse, The Last Stand and Borigins are significantly worse than Iron Man 2 or Thor: The Dark World and I think that that drags down people's perception of the entire franchise.

Exactly my thoughts. Everyone is being told Carol is basically Superman. Her movie is helping her ride a wave of excitement into Endgame. IW's teaser had Fury calling her so it means she's serious business. She's cocky as hell and believes she can turn the tide. Seeing Thanos kill her and have him defeat the Avengers again would seriously decimate the hope any of them had...it's perfect.
I don't think she will die. I hope we get something similar to this.
They land on titan II. They locate thanos very quickly as he was waiting on them.
CM doesn't wait on the others and will fly right up to Thanos, with that confident attitude of hers.
She hits him hard with everything she has, the force of the blast even knocks some of the AV off their feet.

She turns from the explosion with a "there you go" look directed at whomever is with her.

The Explosion dies down.

She hears a "where are you going?" voice from behind her.
She turns, thanos is standing there without a scratch.
In a blink of an eye he slams into CM and knocks her out.

One of the AV says, I tried to tell her. They charge at Thanos.

Well i guess we ll be seeing Thor again if he survives EndGame.

I dont think he ll be pulling a RDJ and ask $100 mil for his next appearance based on what he said.
He doesnt seem to be greedy af.

Im gonna be pretty happy if he is in Avengers 5. Lets hope Feige and the team of writers know what they are doing.

Yeah I wouldn't mind a Thor cameo in Guardians 3 but I have no interest in him being one of the main characters in Guardians 3.

I still don't think we're getting a Thor 4 personally. I think his solo series is basically done, as well.

If Thor returns I hope he is in the next gotg film. Chris Hemsworth had great chemistry with that cast and I loved the banter between them. Those are some of my favorite scenes in Infinity War.
Rocket will miss him otherwise.

With so little of this having been shown so close to release I am betting on us having no idea how big this film is really going to be. I am expecting a third act that's like the Titan and Wakanda scenes combined.

Word. Same here..
My guy is telling me that the Russos, now knowing and understanding how the fans think and put every little kernel they give us under a lens as we and hypothesis and pontificate its meaning know that they really want us to have a movie going experience and not know much about this film. We are in for surprised and gut punches left and right.

They have confirmed that the scene with Tony and Cap shaking hands in the trailer may or may not be in the film. I think it is in the film but not with Steve.

Firstly, the divide and reunion of Steve and Tony was built over 2 film at least. We all wanted to see them make up in IW, it didnt happen. We are all expecting that scene in End Game and its going to be a special moment. I doubt it was spoiled in the trailer.

The scene where Tony asks "Do you trust me?" and we had theories that it could be Ant-man instead, I agree and here's why.

When did Steve not trust Tony? That was never their issue. And if anything its Steve who needs Tony's trust as he is the one who broke their friendship.

However.... Its Ant-man who has said a few times now... "You can never trust a Stark"

Big shame if so.

Eh, we got 3 outings out of Thor's solo series. Granted, Thor shined best in his last 2 MCU appearances, but I also just think putting in a Thor 4 has no obvious spot in the line-up. We know Shang-Chi and Eternals are both being pushed as new franchises and Black Widow is coming next year. Then we got Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 all coming. Likely Ant-Man 3 as well and a possible Spider-Man 3rd film if they re-up the Sony deal. That's not even on top of the prospects of a FF movie or X-Men film after Feige's 5 year plan he mentioned comes to fruition. So even if a Thor 4 were to come, we wouldn't get it for like 4/5 years at the earliest, and I sort of just think it's unlikely. I think he'll more or less ride out in the sunset with Cap and Tony. Whatever form that takes.

It's not that I want to be the guy who ruins Christmas, LOL! I'm just being realistic. We may see Thor again in something else, but I don't think that comes in the form of a Thor 4 if/when we do.

Thor just now has hit his grove.
I would love to see a Thor 4.

It would be a waste and damn shame if Thor was gone of the MCU. As far as I’m concerned there’s a ton of stuff Marvel could and should do with the character.

This character... I like it.
“Another!”

^ YEAH! Once they figured out to forget about the Renn Faire and go with some Imagination they hit the starting blocks, not the finish line.

Man, I'll be crushed if they decide not to make another Thor movie even though Hemsworth and Waititi are both on board.

But I guess I can understand why they wouldn't prioritize it. Ragnarok only hit 800 million despite having a fantastic reception. Eternals and Shang Chi will probably both pass a billion thanks to having the first gay MCU superhero and the first Asian MCU superhero, respectively.
