It's too bad Captain America's ditched his beard in Endgame (by the looks of it, anyway), he looks downright badass with it.

If the plot rumors are true about time travel, Cap had to be able to pass for the clean shaven version of himself we have seen in the past films.

IM 3 hit a billion and he never got another sequel.

I think it's more about making room for new characters than it is about how much money one made. The OG Avengers who remain will still show up here and there. And I'm honestly fine with that as much as I loved Thor Ragnarok (And boy do I love it)

Well, whatever they are up to, we were promised a "heist film" ... since that wasn't IW, then it must be this one.

-the blunt instruments had their chance and it didn't work. I think they'll try the same route again (except with Carol, same result), and then it will be The Brains that finally pull this off, with the promised heist.

Iron Man was basically the co-protagonist of Civil War, though, so he still had a major phase 3 movie. And after that came back to back Avengers movies, both of which (most likely) are focused more on Iron Man than any other Avenger. And RDJ probably won't be willing to star in any other movies after this. It's not like Hemsworth where he only just recently got his "second wind" with the role and is ready for more.

Wrong, Iron Man was an Antagonist in Civil War. There is a big difference. Iron Man was an obstacle in the way of Captain America, and that was his purpose in the narrative.

^ YEAH! Once they figured out to forget about the Renn Faire and go with some Imagination they hit the starting blocks, not the finish line.

The overly Norse- Shakespearian vibe is what turned me off from Thor initially. But his new look and demeanor sky rocketed him to my top 3.

I wonder if captain marvel and stark were in new york in a time rift since nobody realise whats going on

I'm completely lost. I come every hour to see if someone posted a new rumor or spoiler or something. I can't stop thinking about this movie....

So stupid. You could spend way less than $1k and fly to any mid-sized city, stay in a nice hotel and see your choice of showing in the nicest of theaters.
And it was for a Friday matinee. I'm sure they could have easily waited a few days or even gone to another theater in the area to find a showing at a much more reasonable cost. Just seems like someone with too much money and/or someone without a lick of common sense.

Just finished Cap 1 in my Endgame Marathon. Might be unpopular but I really love it and rate it as one of the best MCU movies (better than Civil War. Yes, I said it.)

One thing I notice is that the humour and jokes in early MCU movies are much more natural and funny, not to excessive and forced like the newer movies. Hope Endgame can pull off a full serious tone.

I'm pretty sure almost everyone relevant considers Cap 1 to be pretty darn good.

It's thoroughly mediocre. It however gives us Evans in the role who shines as bright as a sun in the part regardless of the material surrounding him. Otherwise it is at best an unremarkable Super Hero movie.

Yeah, I disagree with this very greatly. But different strokes I guess.

Nah, IM2 is one of the worst offenders with the forced jokes, imo, and that’s still Phase 1. Thor has a lot of it too. The Cap franchise has just always been less jokey than the others.

His banter with Pepper went from charming in IM1 to obnoxious in IM2 in no time flat. Like, from their first scene together it felt off, imo. The change in writers was glaring.

Iron Man 2 is the type of movie where I feel they "technically" had a script, but they just tossed it and let the actors basically make the movie up on set. It lacked any focus and direction for that reason.
