I kinda want Loki to stay dead too, I mean how many times can he come back :lmao:

Loki needs to reincarnate and not be played by Hiddleston. If they want to have Hiddleston in that series he should be playing the bad guy, a spectre/memory of the old, evil Loki from between Thor and Avengers that has surfaced to torment the good, reincarnated Loki in the present day (ala Tom Riddle's memory in Chamber of Secrets).

It was probably just a reference to Valhalla. That's basically heaven for Norse gods, vikings, valkyries, et al.
Good point. I'd like it if he was referring to that - being reunited there.

I'm wondering if at any point in the film when all the OG Avengers finally reunite if they'll realize what a coincidence it was that they didn't get dusted and if it could be for a higher calling and perhaps make the choice to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

It's a shame to lose her, but her death was very well done and an important part of the story.
Yeah, Gamora was the first character I felt genuine sorrow for, and a big part of that came from knowing there was a sense of finality to her death scene. Were the Russos to reverse all that somehow, it'd slightly cheapen the experience for me.
Gamora's was the most effective death they've done, and so for that reason, I think she needs to stay dead.
I agree her death was well done, but I want her back. Maybe Nebula will sacrifice her life for hers, it could still be well done and emotional. The rest of the pre snap dead characters can stay dead. I just think it will be heartwarming to see the Guardians get her back. Imagine Quill, Groot, Drax and Rocket's reaction to her death being undone. Call me a sap, I don't care I just want the gotg to be whole again.

Would Rocket & Groot know?

You clearly know nothing about the human body. I do a 5 day fast every 3 months. And even on the 5th day I'm not "clinging to life." What a silly comment.

Without water? I don't believe you. It would be moronic to even attempt it.

Again, I literally saw a family member, an 80 year old woman whose body was riddled NY rhumetoid arthritis and had suffered a severe head injury, last 10 days on no food and water before finally passing after asking to be taken off life support.

So... yeah, I'd read through my posts next time. I have a fairly personal first hand experience seeing how long a body can survive without food and water.

I read your post. I do not believe that is a thing that happened. What sort of lunatic hospital would keep her on life support but randomly decide not to hydrate her?

Can you actually see the paper using that link? I can't. And when I try to substantiate that bold claim all I find are tales of prisoners who licked condensation to survive and such.

'With one to two days of no fluids, we stop peeing altogether, have trouble swallowing, suffer from muscle spasms, and are more likely to experience nausea. The attention to digestion does not become a priority as victims become delirious and begin to suffer from severe brain function. Blood flow stops flowing to the skin, reduces heat loss, increases cork body temperature, and then gives us a bluish tint. Within three to five days, say Moffit and Brown, our organs and brain shut down.'

No you never. At five days the average person would be dead, at four at the very least your organs would be starting to shut down and your eyes would be shrinking back into your skull.

I demand one source on this.

You’re not going to find one because that’s not at all how dehydration works, but I want you to look and realize this.

Wow, what a legitimately TERRIBLE human being you are to say that about his character and his grandmother.

Guys, calm down. It's one thing to debate something like this, it's another to condescend each other. So either scale the tone of this conversation back a bit, or discontinue it.

CM is just gonna fly around picking everyone up off wherever they are :lmao:

Gather the Team Capt Marvel!!

Though I like Loki, and would wish he would remain a sympathetic villain, this time he should remain dead. There were too many fake-outs in previous movies to do it again now.

Yeah, it's just a matter of wanting it. And considering that the Gauntlet is still in one piece, as long as someone can get a hold of it nothing, pre-snap or not, is beyond its ability to do or undue. In the HISHE take, Nebula was able to get the Gauntlet and I would like that to happen in the movie. And maybe when she tries to bring Gamora back, she finds that for a pre-snap event a price must be paid. That price of course being another life and she decides to pay it herself. That's not to say that I don't like her character. I love her and her redemption arc, but deciding to sacrifice herself for her sister would be a great ending for her.

Can we just appreciate the enormity of a task the Russo Brothers, Feige and co had to undertake to bring us two successful movies.

Infinity War was a smashing success, and i'm sure Endgame will be a really satisfying conclusion.

Oh I don't think he's lying, I think he's misunderstood what was happening. It's inconceivable to me that any hospital would keep a patient's heart and lungs working but then arbitrary decide to dehydrate them for no apparent reason. They might not have been giving her drinks, but she would surely have had an IV drip.

How Long Can the Average Person Survive Without Water?

“An adult in comfortable surroundings, in contrast, can survive for a week or more with no, or very limited, water intake.”

Key emphasis on "or very limited" and the omission of the word 'safely'. Going four days without water is extremely dangerous, ask any medical professional you care to and they will confirm this for you.

I admit I might be misunderstanding @Infinity9999x 's original post, but the way I read it was that they removed her from life support and after removing her from life support she didn't immediately sucumb... she lasted another 10 days or so (so at the point of no longer providing fluids, the hospital at that point was NOT keeping her heart and lungs working/they were no longer taking any life saving measures)

Again, Infinity can correct me if I misunderstood their original post.

Definitely! There was no way something like this was supposed to work. Even the first Avengers was too much of a concept for many people.

I still feel like a lot of people underestimate and belittle all of that work Feige and co have done, just because "it's superhero", or that they don't take too much risks. Like, what they've done was historical. It was really hard to make it work, and it was all a huge risk.
