Bothered by someone repeatedly saying they know stuff but can't say anything at the moment. Describing in vague details of what they know or did but saying absolutely nothing. There's no point. Might as well just say what you know when you can instead of alluding to something.

Its as if someone said they got spy shots but won't post or saying anything about them until we see said scene in trailers/other promotional material, by that point it won't matter. Why tell us you have cool spy shots when you cant show or share anything about them.

Someone DID leak information and they got sued over Star Trek. Sorry guys, but as said for now I can only be vague. I won't risk saying any more than I can.

Do I think I'm better than anyone and that's why I'm not saying? Not at all, I just don't want to get sued. Obviously. If you ask legit questions about cast or crew, NON SPOILER material - that I can answer. Dragon had the right idea.

As to how to "get in" (non background related). Well, dude I already told you. Internship program. Opened the door. I proved myself. Stayed around. Pitched a script they could read. They liked it. Now I have a studio's backing and support. You weren't very clear with the question if you were looking for more than that. I even gave you the exact name of the program. What more do you want? End of day all up to you dude, many people have different routes. If talking background work, certain casting agencies focus on it. A lot or most there didn't go to the open casting call.

And I don't mean to come off uptight. I just can't say certain things, the questions Dragon asked? Certainly since it gives nothing away. Name dropping, well I'm still not used to being somewhere up there yet (OUTSIDE of background work) - count that up to inexperience from reactions. And dude, I told you how I "broke in" which is all you asked for.

Now if anyone can ask questions like: what was Nolan like? What was Tom Hardy like? What was the crew like? Etc. Things that won't be giving away spoiler material that I can answer. Everyting else? Too risky.

The first day started out with us doing background work, Nolan calls cut and in walks Tom complete in Bane costume. Everyone gathered around. It was difficult to hear them, talking in low volume. But, you could already tell how serious he took the role. They went over the camera positions. Where everything was going to be when he did the shot. He seemed to make sure he knew and understood everything that was going down.

A while later Nolan called action and he shifted into being Bane. He was intimidating. This is not 'Batman and Robin's Bane by a long shot. That mask? As said before, it's crazy scary.

A while later, Hardy's double was called in and they went over things for a while. They practically looked like twins minus the slight alteration in costume to tell them apart. Hardy also seemed to become more relaxed as the day went on fooling around with cast and crew. Throwing fake jabs that they threw back. You could practically sense the excitement he had just being there and in that role. It did look like he was "being a kid again."

It was just a couple moments. But they rehearsed it non-stop and captured it from every possible angle to make sure they had it. Nolan's directing style from what we could tell is perfectionism. Making sure every shot is just right and perfectly timed exactly how he wants it to create the best effect it can. He also drinks a lot of coffee - so his level to detail is always high up there. His mind's always thinking. He's beyond serious on set. When he's not directing cast and crew, you can just see it in his eyes - his mind is constantly racing with information. Those long pensive type stares that people make when they're thinking? It's kinda a directorial staple. This guy knows what he wants, what he needs and how to get it.

Overall, from everything? Hardy seemed like a genuinely cool and great guy. He showed how dedicated he was to the character through how serious he took the shots at times to just relishing the moment that he's a Batman villain. And when he becomes Bane? As said, he really slips into the role.

Even though you sign a clause they still keep just about everything from you. Most of the time you are too busy setting up crafty, picking up/dropping off cast/crew/gear/food and doing laborious work you don't get a lot of time to examine what they are shooting... Unless you are a assisting the 1st AC or you are a personal assistant to someone higher up.

Comically very true. We, background, were talking about the film with someone who managed something on set. We knew everything they were talking about. They even told us a story about how Star Trek leaked - Chris Pines taking a leak, pun somewhat intended - even background wore rain coats. Oddly it was the star who slipped up. When asked when the movie was going to finish shooting, ironically someone else was the one able to answer that only due to what Gary Oldman said the other day in an interview. They also told us how one Star Trek background guy went back home and told his family - then the local paper - everything, the full low down on what he shot. He ended up getting sued (scenario I mentioned before).

I think in some of these films, depending on secrecy level, development interns may even know more. I mean, I even got to read Joss Whedon's 'Wonder Woman' script (which I can generally give info on if someone messages me about it, just not exacts, but overall ideas and notions) which btw - f'ing rocked!

I'm actually surprised no one on here did manage to see us or get a good picture of us because we did come out to eat lunch by the hundreds and pedestrians did see us in costume.

That I can go into because it doesn't give away anything about the film itself just rather what goes into it, the filming of it, methods of doing so, and the people behind it.

Thats all I am getting out of it. Wait until after the movie is out and your contracts are up. That way you can say things you can't now instead of just telling us over and over that you can't say anything. You do have pride with what you are saying. Plus all I really said is - there's two Imax cameras, Hardy rocks as Bane, there's a well-established crew, it has many costumes, craft services, no cell phones and how Nolan directs - could be talking about any film (or TV show) with that. I could be a guy standing in Pittsburgh (that's the main city right?) with that. The fact that some are excited about what I've said - on production accounts - without really giving anything away, as noted by the people mad at me for saying nothing, means I'm basically straying far from that line.

And wait... was operating under little sleep... University of Dreams. That's it. Go to them. They'll get you INSIDE a film studio. Prove to them you have what it takes - they'll bring you under their wing. That's your door.
