If you are in Los Angeles in September be on the look out for the filming of “The Dark Knight Rises”. Below are the new locations where they will be filming. As we get more information in, we will update our locations. If you have information for where they will be hear. We would love to hear.
The Dark Knight Rises will be filming in Los Angeles
from Sept 8-11 from 8am til 11:30pm at Los Angeles River bed @ 6th St
from Sept 8-11 from 7am til 11:30pm at 6th St tunnel under Bridge, Santa Fe Av – Mesquit St
from Sept 21-23rd 4am til 10pm at 433 S Spring St, Los Angeles, CA, 90013
Don’t forget our previous locations in Los Angeles. Click here for those locations on September 3rd and 4th.

I take it the shoot in Babylon Lounge didn't happen, right? Or any scene in a bar in Pittsburgh? What about the Rock Airport? Did they just use the airport for practice of the Tumblers and bomb truck chase scenes?

That's what I'm think it was used for. The "Yellow Dragster" was probably just a panel striped Camo Tumbler.

The "Babylon" is on 31st Street Studios property, nothing was filmed there. The stuff at Rock Airport I believe were only tests for the tumblers/bombtrucks.

Thanks! I guess if they were planning to use Babylon Lounge before then they probably decided to use another bar maybe in LA or NY.

They have been filming the Catwoman stunt double on the Batpod.

Mr. Nolan is going out on a classy note with a full-page ad in today's Post-Gazette expressing, "Thank You Pittsburgh." The backdrop is the movie's eye-catching poster art with the shape of a bat in the middle of crumbling buildings.

The ad is signed: Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas & Charles Roven, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. In addition to being the director and co-writer, Mr. Nolan is a producer along with Ms. Thomas and Mr. Roven.

I thought that was nice.

Hardy has been back in LA for a while, doing Warrior press. Bale is supposedly still in town but hasn't been seen filming - except for the dummy in the batwing. The last two weeks of shooting seem to have focused on Catwoman/Gordon/Blake and Talia.
