But they were giving me a hard time even with the cops standing there. The cop was enforcing this no camera rule, which is illegal. Gotta love corrupt cops...

Ah, understood and agreed, it does feel like Nolan is taking inspiration from Road Warrior and ROTLA's big chase sequences.
