We can't all be so easily pleased.
I'm convinced a 12 year old boy could've jumped into that outfit and fans would still salivate solely because of the tight-fitting catsuit. I'm not getting all the hoopla over a very average build in these spy shots. She bends over and it's "DAT ASS" -- really?

Maybe I'm too spoiled.

Interesting, maybe we won't see her here again as catwoman then... :(

I'm sure she'll be back for a few more days. I just figured she'll be in either LA or NY until Thursday because she has some TV show appearances this week until the 18th.

You know too many pedophiles.

12 year old boys in tight catsuits really don't appeal to me very much, so thank god Anne Hathaway doesn't look like a 12 year old boy while wearing her catsuit, because that would be kind of awkward.

I'll say this. Even if that is Anne's final costume, it's basically a modernized version of the 60's Catwoman, so it's not going totally outside of the Batman lore. It may not be the version you wanted to see, but this "OH MY GOD IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE CATWOMAN" nonsense people say here is just wrong.

Which is probably purely on accident. Since, you know, Nolan hasn't really ever gone to the 60s show for source material save for once. Or at least once that I'm aware of.

And given the fact that she's wearing glasses/goggles and not a plain old black domino mask, I'd say it's closer to the modern Catwoman than the 60s show Catwoman. Save for the one identifiable feature that makes her look like Catwoman, that being the cathood.

Heath's Joker/Bank clown mask was worn by Romero's Joker as a clown doing an act to kidnap someone in the 60's show...

But she does look like Catwoman. Just not the version you wanted to see on screen, which is pretty much the major source of your gripes. I am sure there are Batman fans who didn't want to see Scarecrow in just a suit and potato sack, but that is all he's worn in his appearences so far in these Nolan Batman movies.

This thread took an awkward turn for a minute there...

Anywho, the suit is sleek and sexy, and has lived up to my expectations (didn't expect too much), but I wonder... will Catwoman wear those goggles throughout the entire film?

Read my post again.

I'm quite glad they've only done it once. There is very few things I'd want taken from there, and costumes is something I don't mind.

I highly doubt it's accidental.

The thing I don't get about all the complaining is it's the character that makes the character so great. If this cat woman fits that costume well, than its going to work. Could you imagine RotJ done in the same animation as B:TBATB. It would be terrible. However, RotJ's animation fits nicely with those characters and stories.

I mean even heaths joker, the style everything fit nicely with the way the character was portrayed. Same goes with Scarecrow. Ras Al Ghul looked like the comic counter part, as does batman, but with its own changes. I don't think burton's costume would fit in BB or TDK. However it fits in Burtons Batman just fine.

As far as I'm concerned I'll wait to pass judgement on the costume till I see how it's utilized. Hell, I may be the first one on here writing how bad that was of an idea for a costume and didnt fit in with atmosphere of the movie, but until that point I'm going to just wait and see, and I suggest most of you do the same.

I hope not, but she has to hide her identity somehow, right?

It's winter... Couldn't they have given her earmuffs shaped like kitten ears or something?
