lol I dunno. Punisher bores me to tears in all his incarnations (apart from the early MAX books) so I don't read him. At least now I suppose he isn't a walking, talking hollywood cliche.

I love Deadpool, but seriously...it should have been Cable and Deadpool. Not Deadpool and Cable. Hell, Deadpool's name shouldn't be in the title at all IMO.

haha tough ****! lol. Deadpool sells, Cable doesn't. That's the motive, they want the last issue to sell more.

But I do see where you guys are coming from.

Deadpool only sells because Ryan Reynolds played him in a movie. THAT'S it. Before Ryan, Deadpool was a funny fringe character with one title. Now he's blown up into this Wolverine 2.0 that's starting to make people hate him.

Not really. Deadpools new solo started 6 months before Wolverine and was selling 70k a month... It's now settled at a respectable 50k a month. Then you have MWAM which is about 30k a month and Deadpool Team Up which is 20-25k a month. If you think Deadpool sells so well simply because of Ryan Reynolds... well I hate to say it, but you are an idiot.

And people can hate all they want. He's a better, more complex, more unique character than a lot of people give him credit for. He's better than 90% of the X-Men, who would be literally nothing if they didn't come under the X-Men brand.

Now you are just being a Deadpool fan boy. I can name about 20 X-Men I like more than him, who are more complex, and more unique than him.

And more unique than Deadpool? lol. He's like, one of THE most unique characters in comic dom. How many characters do you know that are schizo, break the fourth wall, have a self parody sense of humour, suffer from cancer, want to die but actually can't die, wants to be a hero but fails every time so questions why he should bother etc etc? Yea there is NO others.

And as far as complex? Do you even know the origin of Deadpool? Do you even know why he is the way he is?

Seriously, soooo many X-Men are crap characters and only have a semblance of popularity simply because they are X-Men. To deny this is being an X-Men fanboy/fangirl.

She Hulk has ALOT in terms of the breaking the fourth wall, making fun of herself with her sense of humor thing.

Yes, I know his origin. I know why he is the way he is. But to deny that their are plenty more complex characters in comic-dom just seems to be you being blinded by the fact he's your favorite character.

And then there's just the fact that we could both blinded and not noticing this is OUR opinions. Lol.

I'm not denying there isn't though. It just seemed you was coming across as one of those Deadpool haters that thinks he is simply a shallow loud mouth funny ninja guy. And those people piss me off.

Anyway, I do think he is getting over exposed. But the difference between him and Wolverine is, Deadpool can spoof on that. He can be like "Oh no not ANOTHER book about me!" lol

I just hope he isn't written by hacks like Jeph Loeb again.

I'm figuring the title is arrayed that way as something of a spoof on Cable having first billing in their series by Nicieza - which, after Cable was out of it, always had his name scratched out.
