Why doess Cable look like he has the head of a 70 yr old man stuck on a 20yr old body? He looks odd in that pic with Stryfe

That mystery woman....her hair style looks like Hope. Wonder if , she and Cable finally caught up with herself

MESSIAH WAR, PART 6"

One thousand years from now, Cable is having a very, very bad day. His own father doubts his ability to protect the mutant messiah. His former team, X-Force, has shown up to bring him back to the present, whether he likes it or not. Not one, but two of Cable's oldest and deadliest enemies threaten to annihilate them all. And now even Hope, the mutant messiah he's raised since birth, is starting to wonder if Cable's the right man for the job of keeping her alive...The penultimate chapter of "Messiah War" -- the sequel to the groundbreaking, game-changing "Messiah Complex" -- is here!

WOW!! Big mistake there! They have given Elixer Cable's head for some reason?!? WTF?!?

Hmm...just noticed that X-23's expression is so not her style.

Thats supposed to be Elixir? WTF? I was wondering why Cable was given the body of a 20 yr old. I shouldnt be surpised though bc they've been f-ing uup Josh since the crossover started. First blue hair and now this

I was also wondering what a young Cable was doing there.

I think Stryfe doesn't have much right to call Bishop a traitor.

Some call space the "final frontier." But for time-traveling mutant soldier Cable and Hope -- the so-called "mutant messiah" -- space is their last and only chance at survival. The Earth is dead, thanks to their foe Bishop, and if Hope is going to make it to adulthood, she's going to have to do it in the cold, lonely vacuum of space, alone except for dark forces that know she's coming. Forces which are very, very hungry...

"WANT YOU TO WANT ME," PART 1
Now that he knows that a pirate's life isn't for him, Deadpool's now starting to seriously question this whole "mercenary" thing. Maybe there's something else he could do with his life. He doesn't know what that could be, but then he turns on the television, and he knows exactly where he needs to be, and who needs him most. Hello, San Francisco!

DEADPOOL: MERC WITH A MOUTH #3
Written by VICTOR GISCHLER
Penciled by BONG DAZO
Cover by ARTHUR SUYDAM
"HEAD TRIP," PART 3
They don't call it the "Savage Land" for nothing! Trapped between cavemen zombies and an elite Hydra strike team, Deadpool's only bargaining chip is the thing they both covet: The severed-but-still-devious head of the Marvel Zombies Deadpool! If the Merc With a Mouth is going to survive, he's going to need all his wits and a timely assist from a guy in a loincloth named Ka-Zar and his saber-tooth sidekick. And he'd best keep one eye on "Headpool" - 'cause that little critter is not to be trusted.
32 PGS./Parental Advisory ...$2.99

OK, so did anyone read Cable 15 yet?

The mystery woman is Kideon Nixon. That actually makes me kind of happy, I really liked her in NYX. Hopefully, she gets brought in to something.

Also, Deadpool and his giant gun! awesome. But then he gets ripped in half for his troubles.

“WANDERLOST”

We open literally one second after the shattering conclusion of "Messiah War," and Cable's mission to save mutantkind has never looked more bleak. In fact, you can't even call it a mission anymore... After all he’s been through, after all he’s survived…now all Cable can do now is pray—pray the heavily-armed killers roaming the deep future can’t match his survival skills. And what is the fate of Hope—the so-called “Mutant Messiah”?

Soooo....

Cable's body is about to get all Techno-ey??

Hope is gonna go to space?? gee, I wonder what(force) awaits her there..

and now Bishop has lost an eye to go along with the arm he is missing...dude is falling all to hell

then that means he is slowly turning into CYBORG...and then DC will sue

Huh. Even with some action to it, this latest issue of Cable still felt awfully decompressed.

And I'd have to read through Cable & Deadpool again, but back after "The Burnt Offering" when Cable had himself lobotomized, then got reborn with the whole House of M tie-in, and his powers were out of control again since he lacked the TO Virus, and got infected again - yes, I know that's rather convoluted, but I thought he and the Virus (which I remember being somewhat sentient) struck an accord and it didn't threaten to take over his body any longer.
