Man, I can tell we're in the second round. The debates are getting tougher, and so are the choices. This week alone I could have probably flipped a coin on a couple and been happy either way.

I can't wait to see how hard round three is going to be.

Round 2 is killer. I didn't even bother with Invisible Woman vs. Pestilence. I figured there wasn't a debate around that would convince people to vote against Sue, especially since she has had so much experience and Pestilence hasn't.

LOCATION: Genosha (After destruction)

The island is located off the east coast of Africa and boasted a high standard of living, an excellent economy, and freedom from the political and racial turmoil that characterized neighboring nations.

In New X-men #115, the entire island was reduced to rubble and its mutant population was slain by Sentinels ordered by Cassandra Nova. Magneto and Xavier have since then joined forces to rebuild the island nation. A few survivors and newly arriving mutants who wish to help with the rebuilding process remain on the island.

(The island is pretty much wiped out. The main players from the comic, Excalibur, which featured Charles Xavier and Magneto, are not in this land. But, figure there will be survivors around; but, just like in the comic, they will be in hiding.)

Ok, guys. Sorry about being rather non-existant for the last week. With Wendy starting preschool, we are experiencing the same thing we went through seven years ago when Kevin started preschool: Namely, catching every damn germ that's been floating in the school, because she hasn't been exposed to any of these germs before; then, she passes them onto us. This one sucks, because it's nothing but non-stop coughing for 6 straight days.

Anyway, I posted Ahura's three opening debates that he PMed me. He should be back in a few days to rebutt anything.

Also, tell me how you guys felt about the new schedule. Did you feel the extra full Tuesday was beneficial to debates? The one downside is that when I get into work on Wednesday at 8:00 am, I don't give the four hour extra time to get in last minute rebuttals.

Hi Guys, just my last post as I head on home, before boarding a jet at 7 tomorrow morning.

The nice thing is we still have no visa so we may be staying at the airport in Kuwait

I'm just about to give away Ice/Psy's characters. I'll let you know how I'm doing the dividing up.

First, I'm going to put everyone's name in a cup. I'll pull them out, and that will determine the order. (Also, that way, since we have 17 characters, it's will be random the 4 participants who will get 2 characters instead of one.)

Then, I will put all characters in a cup and draw them out according to the order of the draw. Good luck everyone. Ice has such good characters, he possibly could have had the best record at the end of Round 2.
