Hey, is there a set time Tuesday when debating ends, or at least a gneral time frame? I was just wondering in case I want to make a closing argument whether I should do it Monday night, or if I will have time Tuesday...

Generally, debating will be announced as over when I get into work on Tuesday, which is around 8-9 AM Pacific Standard Time. There will at times be some exceptions made. If I notice a pretty heated argument is still continuing, I might make an announcement to the effect of continuing debates for another hour or two....or, if I get in and notice someone made a post in the wee hours of the night and his/her opponent couldn't possibly get in a rebuttal, I'll hold off. Both scenarios have happened; but, for the most part, debating is pretty over by Tuesday morning.

The worst thing, I find, that happens is someone gets his debate in on Friday...waits, with no response. Then, Monday night or Tuesday comes by, and their opponent makes a last minute entry. Personally, I hate when this happens to me. So, I ask that everyone get in their opening arguments as early as possible, and try to have closing arguments done on Monday night.

It's good for sorting out the characters that are powerful from the one's you like. I'm arguing for demogoblin and bullseye at the moment. I know demogoblin could *****slap bullseye yet I'm arguing a lot harder for bullseye. I don't know much about demogoblin therefore I don't care. On the other hand I'm also, through research, learning about characters I would have never otherwise encountered so this competition may also broaden my reading

all in all a good experience

It would be the version from GLA, I would think. I'm just psyched. My Hawks came from behind TWICE to barely pull off a win against the Rams. Nothing is more exciting than a 54 yard field goal with only 4 seconds left on the clock.

Damn your Seahawks. I had a bad feeling when Bulger hit Holt for that 67 yard touchdown that we had left too much time on the clock. Oh well, it was still a damn good game either way...

And the Doorman we have is the current Doorman. I don't think the whole Durge thing makes him too uber, but then all I know about that is that when someone dies, he just comes and takes them away to heaven or wherever on his skiis. If something about that makes him too uber, then he'll be normal Doorman.

And to Hippy... Nico for... 2nd place! (and any of my characters for 1st) Nico's a great character. I managed to have her take out Scorpion and Thunderstrike last season... and she just BARELY lost to the High Evolutionary. If I can that... you better give that girl justice!

Well, I would imagine that he now has all the powers of the original Deathurge
Add to that the fact that he's a messenger of Oblivion, I've yet to hear of a Cosmic level entity of such HIGH importance as Oblivion leaving his go between powerless.

at the very least, his ability to fly has been increased as well as the ability to become TRULY intagible. One would assume strength is also a part of the equation, as well as immortality as Doorman is, infact, currently dead. I can understand not allowing him the ability to use Deathurge's power to create black-weapons, but would suggest that it be included.

I'm more of the mind to just include the powers that he's been shown in having, which isn't much more than what he had before. Truthfully, I can't even think of anything that has concretely been shown to have been added to his powers, save for the trendy skiis.

flight, intangibilty, and "death-sense" have been shown as new powers. and, he has confirmed that he is in fact dead.

Damn right, she's the best character in runaways, she just keeps getting stronger and stronger. It's never been fully determined if her powers are physical or psychic giving way to the possiblity that her strength is just some early manifestation of some greater power...shouldn't really be giving you all these arguments should I...wish I'd put molly higher on my list
