I'll do it tomorrow if I have time. (Or, if someone else wants to.) Although, if I think dusk will win, I'll probably say so. I like to give my honest opinion after thinking it through.

I think so too, that's why I wanted someone else to play Hornet. Zealous representation, isn't that how the law states it.

Whew! I've only got 2 more Marvel boxes to go, then I'll know everything I finally have. It sure helps in not getting duplicates. (Eventually, I'll get everything in alphabetical order; but, for now, I'm settling for alphabetical per box with all the stuff not in order.)

I just discovered I have about 75 duplicates of Thor comics.

i still have to rifle through my Image and independant boxes. Plus, I have about 25 boxes that have random stuff in them. Ugggg...I really need to start learning how to sell on ebay.

I did that a couple of years ago and it took ages but was well worthwhile. I never thought I'd have so many doubles.

I only have about 600 comics but I've already got loads of doubles. Although in my case it's because I tend to go online leathered and order off websites not taking into account what I've already ordered

Heh , I've had problems backfilling my Uncanny X-Men collection so I've often bought large runs which overlapped with issues I already owned. I have three copies of some of the supposedly harder to find issues. I've previously (also when leathered) bought duplicates from a comic shop within the same purchase! I had no excuses as the covers weren't different versions or anything. The store attendant even doublechecked that I was sure


Having to do everything online for the remaining issues is not quite as exciting as the early days when I raided comic shops for their entire Uncanny back issue collection. I will own all the originals one day........

I think I already have about 8 long boxes of duplicates. A lot came from the collection I bought. Selling them off is cool; but, I thought we need thread for trading comics. The only problem that I can think of is determining value and condition of comics.

For example, I have a bunch of duplicates of Defenders and Marvel Two-In-One....just, some of them aren't in the best of condition. All are readable, but getting these old issues on ebay have resulted in many not-so-good conditions.

Oh, man...I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm dying to get the Superman collection from Best Buy for 69.99. The Richard Donner version of Superman II will probably be the first thing I watch. Plus, Clerks II comes out (he better have all the extra footage on it like I'm used to) and I heard he's releasing another Evening With Kevin Smith DVD.

Hey, I just realized we haven't heard from Trigger in over a week. I think the last time was when we talked about her match between Zaladane and Meggan...but, I don't think we even saw her vote last week. I'm going to PM her.

I just made my first ever comlpete roast dinner with all the trimmings! I'm so proud

Beautifully cooked roast chicken stuffed with sage,onion and pork stuffing. Roast potato's cooked in goose fat, roast onions, brocolli. THE WORKS.

It tasted soooooooooooo GOOD!

And now I am going to live off sandwiches for the next week

WOW! I was just looking at my matches for next week, and realized that after next week's matches, we'll be at the halfway mark for Round 1.

Also, luckily I finally have a match that shouldn't prove too difficult. Zoken better get ready to have my Rogue pound his Shang-Chi. Master of Kung-Fu by butt!!!

I just checked how many I have after reading your post and unless I'm reading my bracket wrong (which is very possible) I have like 6 matches or somethign this week. And I don't think any are against myself. I'm gonna be a busy bee, but the bright side is just think of how much higher my winning percentage will go when I get another 6 wins .
