here's what I don't get. It's one of those things that I'd swear is so completely obvious yet the rest of the world doesn't seem to pick up on... Doesn't Hugh Jackman SUCK as Wolverine?! I mean, are we all so in awe of Wolverine being on the screen period that we don't care whether or not it's anything like the original character? Here's what they did wrong:
They mangled his origin and tied it in with Striker (formerly an evil preacher who murdered his own wife and newborn son for being mutants... the movie version has him as a politician who's son is a wheelchair ridden mutant... see how it lacks the power of the original version?)... but anyways... back to Wolvie... he's not tall, he's not skinny (Hugh has muscles but face it, the dude has a small frame), he's not cute and loveable, he's not a leader, and he's not the focus of the Phoenix saga. What DID they get right? The hair (sort of) and the claws. Acting wise? Everybody praises him but I swear on my life the dude acts like he's on stage in every single movie he's in. He's always making absurd facial expressions and overacting with over the top eyebrow raises. Sure, comic Wolvie had a soft side at times, but he was a hardcore guy... Hugh's version isn't intimidating AT ALL toward the audience, not even for a second. I'm not here just tryign to ***** about Hugh's Wolvie cuz Cyke got killed. I'm here to ask why there aren't tons of people who watched Sin City's Marv and suddenly remembered what Wolverine was like before Fox raped him. Have we forgotten?

And you gotta admit, Minisoonoo definitely did her research and it's paying off!
