can you take control of them, or summon a flock?

so far no. Let's hope that's a part of their DLC plans.

^^ ah.....that's kind of disappointing. :(

especially since the main character's name means Raven/Crow........lol

Just did the first assassination.

[BLACKOUT] Took out the High Overseer with his own poison and saved Curnow. Pretty impressive considering I could see half a dozen other ways of going about it. [/BLACKOUT]

I kind of wish they hadn't tied killing guards into morality, I kind of want to cut loose but I keep having to reload because I'm afraid of killing too many folks.

I just did a teleport when I got spotted that led right into a slit throat and I had to throw it away. I HAD TO THROW IT AWAY. :(

Good game though.

EDIT: I just completed the Golden Cat [blackout] video game brothels are always fun. Though I'm guessing that toy heart of yours belongs to the late Empress. [/blackout]

don't worry about the morality mechanic . I put up an article for you to lower it, if it becomes too high from pc gamer.

That's good to know, I was worried the effect was cumulative. If I can sway it back and forth then I can loosen up a bit.

I knocked him out and hauled his ass to the interrogation room then branded him to get him out of power. Luckily I save a lot coz on my way there I was going to rest him on one of the overhead lamps, but he fell off and died lol.

I smashed the glasses btw. The High Overseer mumbles about having to do things the hard way, then takes Curnow to his private lair. If you don't intervene he stabs him in the back.

Easily GOTY. I can't think of anything coming out that will match the depth of this game.

I had every intention of playing this with no kills, but they made it too damn fun to be bad lol.

Mid-game spoilers, big ones, seriously do not read if you're not sure what I'm talking about:

I went into the tower to kill the High Regent with the skeleton key I grabbed from the party in the previous mission so making my way through the tower took about 5 mins which felt satisfying.

I figured there was a betrayal coming but I was expecting it from Pendleton or the admiral, not all of them. As soon as I saw the drinks though I knew what was coming. There will be revenge, oh yes - and it will definitely be of the lethal kind. :cmad:

so how does this run on PS3?

is it as buggy as Skyrim was?

Runs great. This was only published by Bethesda thankfully. Arkane developed it, so no issues at all.

Loving this game so far, just finished The Golden Cat.The traversal is amazing for a first person game.Upgraded my agility and have level 2 blinking.Every chance I get I'm jumping from roof top to roof top.

Loving this game. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. I could definitely see this property becoming a movie.

I hope so. I understand that Corvo is suppose to be us but i really wish he talked

I've been playing this game non-stop since I got it, and I'm in love. The world and the lore Arkane created for this game is incredible and is even better matched by it's gorgeous art style. The gameplay harkens back to the days of the experimental FPS, like Thief and Deus Ex--two games I still play to this day. God damn, I love this game. Plus, I've logged in probably 10 or 11 hours and I'm only on the 4th chapter (maybe the 3rd). The environments are just so damn fun and enticing to run around with my blink ability and agility. It's so freaking awesome!! Definitely worth the purchase.

Even if not voiced lines, every once in a while the game let's the player choose some text dialogue. More of that would be great.

At the last level, Chaos rank is low despite me getting a little bloodthirsty the last two chapters.

Wow, the heart will tell you a little thing about anyone you point it at. Craaaazy.

Had no idea this was out already. Definitely gonna pick it up after work.

Just finished Dishonored. The last mission was pretty darned simple, Giantbomb wasn't wrong about that. I actually got the achievement for not being spotted without meaning to. Got the low Chaos ending, things wrapped up rather neat, maybe a little too neat for a story like this.

Still all things being equal, I enjoyed the hell out of this game. Was a bit sad I was done - which is always a good thing imo. It'll be interesting to see what the DLC will be. Hopefully more missions and such.
