i would be happy with the following people as gambit...

ian somerhalder (my top choice)
jared leto
drew fuller
ryan carnes (with his blond hair dyed brown)


i dont mind stephen dorff, i just think he would look too old next to anna

ian somehalder's my favourite choice until now...

after re-watching lots of 'lost' i agree with people here that josh holloway would be better for the role.

I think Rhys-Meyers is a bit of a weirdo. Did anyone see his interviews when he was promoting the Elvis TV movie? Why was he staying in character?

Whatever role Gambit will have, I just know that whatever actor they pick, he won't be on anyone's casting list. It'll most likely make everyone go "huh?" like Ben Foster as Angel and many of the older casting choices.

Some turn out with excellent results while others are merely adequate. Time will tell really who's going to be cast and how they'll do with it which doesn't help my impatience.

If Foster bulked up and grew out his hair and dyed it, then yeah, he'll be cool.

I've mentioned this before: Foster shaved his head and lost a lot of weight for a role in a movie. If gets back into shape, he'll look more 'healthy' looking.

He's filming Mission Impossible 3 right now,there is no way he's doing X3.

This is a little off the wall here....BUT....what about....if you want some unknown, sort of hot, unique looking young guy.....Kris Pope?

Some of you might remember him as Rafer from Dark Angel.

If he's hot enough for Jessica Alba to use as a sex toy and slam around a hallway, he's hot enough to be Gambit.

He is kind of a slick sexy guy....with a mischeivious smile. Lemme find a pic....

As for Pope, he looks fairly average. I have no strong reaction for or against.

I don't think it'll be a case of Remembering, but more of whether they decide to do it or not. I don't see why they would choose to go with normal eyes over those cool black/red eyes. Much stupider things have happened though.

He was in Blade and was a couple inches shorter than Snipes, and as we all know, Snipes is a whopping 5'8".
that makes Dorff at most, a dwarf!

Yes but remember...
James Marsden (Cyke) is shorter than Famke (Jean), Hugh (Wolvie), and a few others. He has to be put on stilts and crates and such while acting, so he doesn't seem nearly as short.

As long as they make Gumbo seem around 6 ft., I don't see as it's a big deal. (Of course to me, it's not a big deal at all no matter what...as long as Gambit's not like shorter than Rogue)
