Skeletor has wrinkles on his face, Skull is sleek and looks more like a skull lol.

Heh! You're right, I think it was just the use of practical make-up on a skeleton head, as well as the eye socket area, that triggered my memory.

So judging from the trailers, we really won't see the actual Red Skull face until like later in the movie when Capt. goes and saves the commandos. It seems like that will be his big reveal. Am I right in assuming this?

No, because an earlier trailer shows the Skull taking his mask off when Steve is still wearing the USO suit underneath his clothes.

Ah, I thought you meant later, as in the third act.

I would've expected the Skull to be revealed in the second act. That's pretty common for origin movies. Spend the first act on the hero, then introduce the villain.

To a degree it is, but very specific details on big plot points are kept under tags until a while after the movie has released.

While in the comics (or this movie) Hydra might be supposed to be worse than the Nazis, as far as the general audience is concerned, history shows that the Nazis are like the ultimate evil power. One can't just ignore the strength of that symbolism because it will hold more weight and have more impact than a Hydra symbol.

Nazis are in the movie. We've seen symbols and heard references in dialogue. All they have to do now is show (not just tell) the audience how Hydra is worse than the rest of the Nazi Party.

You've just reminded me that there was one poster who was really dissappointed when Weaving's casting became evident as he thinks he's a terrible actor.

I love that they've referenced the classic green suit as well as the later trenchcoat look.

In fact I'm impressed by all the costumes I've seen so far, but then should I ever really have doubted the man that designed Boba Fett?
