Oh it's got to man. That's like seeing someone wearing an official mass produced The Dark Knight Joker or Batman Halloween mask, before watching the movie, and expecting Heath or Christian to look as cheaply done on screen.

I bet it has all of the basic details though - unfortunately including the ears

I know it's just a halloween mask and they always look bad. I was talking about how bad the basic details looked. I hope the movie Red Skull has more of a "Skull" look than that does.

That's too bad as the Superbowl is only a couple of weeks away, ands it might be better to see the skull head in motion first as stills don't always do justice and cause panic on boards like this.

I'm fine with that. After that mask pic appearing, people need to see the Skull in the spot to ease any worries.

I'd love to just see a quick flash of Red Skull with his head turning or something.

But I think a spot focusing on Cap in battle would be great. I'm sure we'll see pre serum Steve, then he emerges out of the thingie, and then the suit reveal, then war action.

Even though that's not strictly movie related, it's cool nonetheless. I certainly hope Skull looks just as cool 3-dimensionally in the movie.

That reflection really has me excited for the movie version of Skull. I love the scarring look we got on the concept art, hopefully we get a little of that in the final design. For a movie Skull, I wouldn't mind ears or without ears. Just as long as he doesn't have lips.
