Official Incredible Hulk comic thread.

Why is there a Gray Savage Hulk in FF?
He's aiding S.H.I.E.L.D. in disposing the remains of Hydra's weapon in the outskirts of Las Vegas. JMS is wrote it, and it's a pretty good issue, IMO- and i'd recommend you check it out! Damn shame that we Hulk fans must look OUTSIDE Hulk's own book to get our Hulk Fix from his appearences in other books. I even picked up issue #90 today, just to see what was goin' on, and i see i shoulda came here first! What a piece of ***** story! Marvel's makin' so much money off the comic-adaption movies, that they could care less about their ICONIC characters' comic books. And ya know, i can't believe i'm gonna say this, but DC is lookin' pretty good right now....:hulk:

I was a the comic store today and I realized that Marvel is actually TRYING to make Hulk a popular story again. He was on the cover of a Spider Man a few months back, a FF, the Sentry, and there's the whole Doc Samson thing, and of course there's Planet Hulk coming up. Joe Q just needs to understand that it takes a certain type of writer to do the Hulk. Joe Q considers Daniel way to be one of the top 5 or 10 writers. It probably seemed like his Hulk idea would be good, but he obviously swung and missed on this one. And when you put Hulk in a comic as a guest appearence, it can go horribly wrong. Especially when it's a forced thing. Just read the latest Sentry.

Hopefully after Planet Hulk, the jade giant will have enough populaity to make him a priority. Hulk could be one of Marvel's best and top selling comics given a good writer and penciler. Joe Q just needs more fans screaming at him to do so.

Yeah, i hear what you're saying Mr. Green, but damn- they better get a move on it man! The whole Peter David thing really left a lot of hardcore Hulk fans feeling sour, and then when his short run ended...you see where i'm going with this? I want the Hulk to be good again, but i'm not sure that Marvel is willing to go the extra mile for the Jade Giant. That's just my opinion.

Well, Way's run is finally over. Looks like Planet Hulk is just a month away!

Yeah! Planet Hulk is here and it is actually badass! 14 issues of Planet Hulk!!! This is great, and what is even greater is the fact that Hulk has a good reason to smash all those backstabbers on Earth! FINALLY!

I just don't think the right person has come up yet. PAD was only there because no one else wanted to do the book, and look how he turned out. That right person needs to get on this book fast though

I just started reading the Hulk starting with the last arc. It was pretty much just a setup story for planet Hulk. I already like planet Hulk a lot and the first issue is really good and the story sounds like it is going to kick ass.

The story for Planet Hulk is really interesting. The other heroes are definitely going to catch hell when Hulk gets back home and I personally can't wait for it.

Yeah, I hope Mr. Fantastic gets his ass beat first. Damn stretchy bastard!

Anyone else notice that in the beginning of PH, the screen has the FF and Doc Strange, and maybe some others on it? Maybe that's going on during Civil War.

14 issues of PH? How often will they be coming out?
It is just the storyline taking place in the current monthly Hulk title, so that is 14 months worth of books.

Damn, I hope it's finished in less than 14 months....though I just read the 1st issue and I was pretty much blown away! Great art and great story, finally.

I remember a Marvel editor asking who should be the next Hulk artist in a previous Hulk issue.

I would like to see JRJR again, Lee Weeks, Mike Deodato or Alex Maleev. Either one of those artist's.

I would LOVE to see Mike Deodato do some of Planet Hulk! He's my favorite artist PERIOD, and IMO, the best Hulk artist to date.

For those who don't know...
Planet Hulk schedule:

Part 1: Exile. Feb - May 06 (#92-95)

Giant Size Hulk #1. June 06. (28 pages of new story-Planet Hulk tie in. Also reprints "Hulk: the End".)

Part 2: Anarchy. July - Oct 06 (#96-99)

Part 3: Allegiance. Nov 06 - Feb 07 (#100-103)

FINALE: Armageddon. Mar - Apr 07 (#104-105)

 OVER A YEAR OF PLANET HULK!!! Hope this helps!

Since Incredible Hulk is approching issue #100, I wonder if it will ever go back to volume one numbering.

It's got to be the longest running series from Marve if add both volumes together.

 YEAH! Tons of other crappier books get to keep their vol. 1 numbering! What is up with that?

Joey Q had all the books return to their original numbering except for the Hulk and Daredevil.

My 2 favorite comics...that annoys the hell out of me.

Doesn't it?

Why return Amazing and Fantastic Four to original numbering and leave the other books continue on to volume two or three.

What did everybody think of FF #533 - #535? I thought it was pretty good but nothing too special. When the 1st issue came out I read it when I was really tired and didn't know what to think. I enjoyed seeing a Grey Hulk and Mckone's art on the FF is really growing on me.

what was the most recent comic that featured hulk vs human torch & thing? I seen scans of that & it look F'N awesome!

That's it, there was some pretty good action IMO. That last blow the Hulk landed on Ben was something fierce.
