Aquaman with undies reminds me of the awesomeness that was Young Justice when the JLA were turned young. Lagoon Man and Aquaboy was the ****.

Those gloves are awful :down

They need to give him back his water hand and get rid of those terrible gloves
God i hope not. The only thing worse than those gloves is amputee Aquaman. I always hated that concept.
The Justice League........you wouldn't like them when they are angry.....:o
Seems like everyone in the new DC Universe is pissed for some reason. Could they be pissed at Dan and Jim?

WW looks amazing here. Everyone else looks like they're Batman cosplaying as other heroes! SO ANGRY!!!

Wonder woman looks like a casino hooker with the no pants look now. They should have kept the look they were going with. Its a swimsuit again really...and the starts again...jeez
I think it looks much better than her classic costume. The fact that they removed a few colours and modernized her chest eagle helps a lot. She didnt look bad with pants either, but somehow they felt wrong on her.

Everything about Young Justice was epic and fun

Ha sweet.

The JLA has realised how evil pants are and decided to stop wearing them

Wonder Woman wearing pants on that cover is a sign she is being mind controlled by Starro the evil space starfish and he is using her to try and realise his mad dream of a universe where everyone wears pants :wow:

* JUSTICE LEAGUE - 24 story pages in #1 with 4 design or extra content pages. 22 story pages starting with #2 with 6 design or extra content pages.

Well, this makes JL even more unlikely for me. I've been straying away from singles with upped prices without extra content with Marvel's titles, and sounds like this could go either way. Some issues may have some extra story pages, but others may just have design pages, which I'm not all that interested in. With that and my general lack of apathy towards this reboot...I'm thinking I may just skip this and tradewait if I hear good things.

I don't know what you'll do with two of them, but okay?

Remember that the "new DC Universe" preview gives you 8 pages of story context, so #1 for some is 3.99 purchase for 16 pages of story, then they have to wait 7 weeks for the next issue. :p Oh that Jim Lee!

7 weeks? Has it already been delayed or something? Or was JL always going to skip a month? I never got the preview thing.

What happen to "WE DRAW THE LINE AT $2.99!" ?

They still do, but oversized books still will be over that, as they always were. And JL does have that, but it seems like the actual amount over it is less defined as the others.

#1 comes August 31th and then #2 comes in middle of October, while arguely shouldn't it come early October? :p So yeah.

Draw the line at $2.99 applies to regular sized comics. They charge $3.99 for comics with extra content, which is what Justice League, All Star Western, Sgt. Rock and the Men of War, and Action Comics are doing. And even then, DC is making their $3.99 comics (with extra content) a relatively small number.

At least DC is being honest compared to Marvel which charges $3.99 for "regular sized" comics while cutting the number of pages within them, all while saying nothing.

Yep doubting that I'll be buying the Justice League series

Though I will definitely be buying Justice League Dark and Justice League International I think

Thanks Fellas, that was a real swell explanation!

david finch's cover is shockingly awful. i honestly cant believe DC would print that cover. i cant believe david finch has a job in comics doing art like that.

That cover just makes me make the  face so much when I look at it

All the heroes seem to be full of Brooklyn Rage

We've got emoticons for the new Justice League:

Superman :argh:
Flash:argh: Batman:argh: Wonder Woman:dry:
Green Lantern:argh: Aquaman:argh:

Wonder Woman looks okay-ish but she still looks like she's about to choke someone

Yeah I'm still trying to figure that one out. Why not just put J'onn there?

J'onn is busy being amazing and fighting the moon

Which is alive. And evil

DC says that the reason that J'onn isn't there is because they already have an alien on the team--Superman--as the reason "in a nutshell" but in terms of when that is explained and put into further detail in the comic it will be worded/shown in a good way since given Superman's introduction to the world apparently wasn't in the best light they (as in the people of the DCnU world) are weary of another alien being on the team. But in a nutshell that is the reason they mentioned at SDCC.
