Hopefully, this Darksied is back to his classic power levels and owns them all and the only way they can win is through a mix of brains, subterfuge, and a whole lotta luck.

Hush said:Yeah I would love to see him just lay the smackdown on them. Think we will see the Furies? I would like even Kalibak to be a powerhouse. I think what DC lacked in the past universe was REALLy strong villains, personally.
True, but I was under the impression it was those very "*****e nozzles" (among others) that DC was trying to get to stick around, and were trying to cater to those groups interests, which is apparently anti-starfish.
I can understand how a newer and more "modern" audience may not identify Starro as an ideal or feasible threat, but why the hate for him?
I've enjoyed him from time to time.
Is it?
Is it?!?
IS IT?!?

I guess I don't hate him, I just find him either over used as a villain but not used to his full potential when he is a villain and therefore lame and boring. Make sense?
A little more Cthulu and a little less Starfish and Starro would be an awesome villain. Don't get me wrong, I like the starfish. But if people are gonna *****... go Cthulu.

In the Morrison comic books though its clear the majority of his sexual relationships are casual he's never been portrayed as cheating on any of the women he's been involved with.
Finally got to read the second issue. Of course I love Jim Lee's art. I loved every panel that Barry was in and Bats having a level head is good to see. I was expecting him to just pull out some Kryptonite.
Which is why Hippie claiming this for a second time is baffling. There's nothing ****ish about Morrison's Batman at all...especially if its claimed that he's a ****e because beforehand he was portrayed as a man child who never had sex, which is unrealistic when you think about it.
The idea is even more silly when you take into account that Bruce's relationships with Talia, Jezebel, and Kathy take place throughout the span of 10-15 years rather than at the same time. Morrison's Bruce was with Kathy at 20-24, with Talia around 30, and with Jezebel at 35. How is that ****ish?
Could you say Bruce is a ****e now? I guess so. But to say Morrisons Batman is ****ish is riduclous when you think about it.
It's not that Batman never has sex. That's ridiculous, I just think that a man with his mentality should be a tad bit sexually repressed considering that he's a man with a heavy guard around him and he dresses up like a bat.
Also, it's heavily implied that Morrison's Bruce Wayne sleeps around a lot. He has slept around with far more women than just the ones that Morrison has shown. Morrison even said in interviews that his Batman has a very strong sexual appetite and has lots of it. Something that is continued in Tony Daniel's Detective Comics and Judd Winick's Catwoman. It kinda diminishes Talia, Selina, Silver, and Julie IMO.
Honestly I'm so glad its Darksied and not Starro, I hate starro.
Anubis said:Quite frankly, if they took it in a more Aliens sorta way, it could be down right poo inducing.
I dont think Bruce enjoying casual sex or having lots of it s a big deal or anything bad personally and I don't think it makes him a man****e
Though while Bruce flirts a lot I cant recall him having had that many on panel instances of getting intimate with someone. There's Jezebel, Catwoman, that woman in Tony Daniel's Detective Comics who is so interesting I have already forgotten her name and I guess Kathy though that was only in flashbacks
