Cyborg really IMO hasn't done anything to make me think he deserves to be apart of the Justice League and second during this reboot they should have changed his look to make him look at least some what human. Kind of like how Alex Ross did for him in Kingdom Come.

I agree on your first point, but I don't see why they'd want him to look more human. It's the age of technology, man. Part of Iron Man's success comes from the fact that he's got all kinds of cool tech stuff in his armor. I think DC thinks Cyborg could tap into that same "cool tech" factor for the masses.

It's not so much deserve, but more along the lines of how they fit in. DC has really put a lot of emphasis on the Big 7 and the Satellite League as the Justice League as opposed to Marvel pretty much letting everyone who is deserving on the Avengers.

As a result, it just doesn't feel right to not see a Justice League that does not consist of any members of the Big 7 and the side characters that fit in very few due to DC not really letting the Justice League expand in the comics. The only time a non-Big 7/Satellite League really worked was Giffen's Justice League International era.
