Official Rulk Thread

I just cannot get over Force Unleashed Guy as ****ing Doomsday the paramedic. Go ahead and ***** at me if I'm being all *****y over something I haven't actually watched, but c'mon. What's next, Nathan Fillion as Darkseid the dentist?

...wait, I'd watch that actually.

You have a total crush on Fillion, don't you? He's been involved in too many Whedon projects for you not to. :o

But yeah, Sam Witwer as Doomsday is one of the big things that struck me as really stupid for this season of Smallville. Forget The Force Unleashed; I look at him and still see f***ing ******ed Crashdown from BSG, cracking under the pressure that everyone else could handle just fine. :o

:o :o :o

I use that face a lot. :o

Nathan? Are you kidding. The things I would let that man do to me...this forum is adults-only, right?

I came within ten feet of him once and was, hmm, I believe the exact word I used at the time was "singed by his aura." Though I have to admit, not as fiery as the time I actually spoke to Summer Glau.

Can't knock what you haven't seen. I was doubtful about Sam Witwer's casting too, but it's been a fantastic development. Of course, you can only appreciate it if you let go of the comics and allow yourself to enjoy a different take on things.

Hey, at least they didn't make Doomsday red, right?

I'll always see him as the military kid that got stabbed then fed alive to the creatures in "The Mist". :)

I usually see him as the serial killer wannabee in Dexter. Bringing "Doomsday" into Smallville kept me from watching this season. Then again, I didn't watch last season either, so I probably wouldn't have anyway.

Why am I not surprised that you like Smallville, Spoons?

I complain about it just as much as the next fan. But Darth is right about this season being good despite Lex's departure.

Yeah, that praying mantis thin F'ed him up!

I don't remember him at all on Dexter. Was he the kid from the first season that Dexter let go and ultimately had to kill later on?

Hi, this is a comic book message board. Welcome. Apparently, you're new here.

;)

New theory I just made up....

Red Hulk is
She-Hulk's dad, Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters

No. And it wouldn't explain why the eye scan thing at the military base recognized him.

Okay then...how about
Ramon, Betty Ross' seldom-mentioned second husband
?

No. He was the kid who pretended to be the Ice Truck Killer, but freaked out and confessed to lying when LaGuerta showed him the severed head. Neil Perry. Sam Witwer has made a career on being the crazy guy on tv.

I'm pretty sure Sam Witwer isn't red Hulk. Maybe it's
Russian spy/gamma bomb non-delayer Igor Drenkov...
