48 fps HFR 3D Theater List

Its gonna be playing in 48fps less than an hour from me!

Holy crap , Holland will have a 48 fps IMAX screening
Just checked this to be sure and it is true

Holland as 3 ( sadly) LIEMAX theaters but the one playing Hobbit in 48fps is my favorite so i'm definately going to watch this one t:

Saw the new trailer yesterday...what struck me is the energy this film seems to have. And I was interested to see that McKellan appears to be playing Gandalf younger and with more energy, save for a few sequences where he's kind of "weary". I wonder if we'll see a bit of a different evolution of his character this time around.

I think Rag's looks kinda like tribute to him and tom bomberdil. The Hat looks like something Tom Bomberdil would wear.

I've always interpreted Tom Bombadil, spiritually and thematically but not necessarily literally, as a character from our world who just found his way to Middle Earth by accident and is having a fun time exploring everything.

In my head, a live action Tom Bombadil walks around wearing a worn-out NY Giants ballcap.

Glad to see some St. Louis theaters get added to that 48 fps list. There weren't any before. I'm not surprised to see the Megascreen at the Wherenberg Galaxy included. Its also the only 4k theater in the area.
