I can't believe I just saw someone survive multiple leglock attempts from Rousimar Palhares. That's insane! Much props to Belcher for the win.

Ugh, what the **** is the point in having great BJJ if you're just gonna let your opponent rain in shots from your wide open guard?

Hahaha, Belcher is the man.

He said he wanted to submit him and he tried many times but it wasnt working. He beat Palhares' ass to near unconsciousness though, so thats good.

Diaz. Nicely done.

Everytime I watch these guys fight they put on a striking clinic.

Id like to see Pettis/Diaz fight for the next shot at the LHW belt.

i dont like how pettis acts like he is owed a title shot

Condit was WEC WW champ when he entered ufc and loss his first ufc fight too and had to beat guys like hardy, ellenberger,DHK,rory, diaz to get a title shot at gsp

Nate deserves it more especially how he has dominated his last 3 opponents in gomi, cerrone, miller

Great night of fights. Went 3/4 on the main card.

Man, Diaz made Miller looks like an amateur out there. Was kind of embarrassing.

I knew Belcher could get Palhares. I kept telling people, this guy isn't going to get lock-locks in every fight. When you start being a one-trick pony, guys know how to prepare for you. Nice win for Belcher.

Does Kos have to cheat in every fight?! Glad he lost. Hendricks was lighting him up.

I don't know what to say about Barry. He isn't going to go anywhere in the UFC.

i thought koscheck did enough to win it was a close fight but man koscheck had a damn good chin

hendricks imo is not a top WW gsp would tool him

see what happened when his left hand did'nt put out josh ?

he barely won and had all his TD's stuffed

Karma for Koscheck's robbery of a win over Mike Pierce. He has no right to complain really. I think Hendricks outstriked him. Plus Koscheck is a dirty fighter. Hendricks getting poked in the eye in the first round was no accident IMHO.

Huge win for Diaz who looked even better in this fight. Did a good job of defending the takedowns and completely shutting Miller down.

White will grant Diaz a title shot if he waits for it. So Diaz is effectively the number one contender now.

CrypticOne, I also picked Belcher to win. Palhares is very good but he tends to gas quickly and he's nutty. Not only that, Belcher has been very underrated on the ground for a long time. He's got seven submission wins and he's beaten IMHO much better guys than Palhares. Not like Dan Henderson wasn't able to deal with Palhares either. He got out of his leglock as well and beat Palhares up. Palhares seems like if he can't get his sub he seems to panic and not recover well.

Yeah, completely agree. I feel Palhares kinda gives up on the fight if he isn't dominating the it. Low self-esteem. I mean, even when he's walking out, he looks like he's about to cry. Don't get me wrong, I find Palhares an interesting guy and a fun fighter to watch. Definitely one of the top middleweights, still.

I'm glad Diaz is getting the next title shot. Pettis needs another fight. He's only fought three times in the UFC and he's 2-1, he needs another solid win. I'd actually like to see Diaz/Pettis. That'd be awesome.

Pettis/Cerrone would also be awesome to see.

yeah belcher is extremely underrated

he is 6-1 in last 7 and last loss is a very controversial split decision loss to akiyama a fight i thought he won

Yeah, that Belcher/Akiyama fight was so close and still one of my favorite fights to watch. Every time I watch it, I score it different every time. That must have been a nightmare to judge. But Belcher is definitely underrated. Everyone I know says that he's overrated, and I think they are crazy.

I gotta hand it to Nate. Being the first person to finish Miller says a lot about how he's improved. I want to see him vs. Pettis rather than him waiting on the winner of Edgar/Bendo in August. Seems like a long wait because they'd probably end up fighting at the end of the year. Sure he deserves it, but the 155 class is so deep I don't like guys sitting for too long. On the flip side of that taking a fight in between and losing your shot would suck ass, so it's understandable if he wants to wait.

Man, the UFC can't catch a break. Cruz is out with a torn ACL against Faber. He's gonna be out for awhile. That sucks.

Dan Henderson survived a Palhares leglock attempt.

Palhares is a nutty dude. It seems when he can't get his submission off he crumples up.

Big news as I've just been confirmed for UFC 146. I will be covering the fights live, cageside Memorial Day weekend.

This is huge as this will be the first time I am covering a real UFC heavyweight title fight. The last title fight I covered was the interim title fight between Condit/Diaz and that was just for the interim title.

I hate that Cruz is going to be out for a while. I like watching him fight. I guess it's time for Faber vs. Barao or McDonald then.

Barao makes the most sense I suppose if it's for an interim title.

But with guys turning down title shots these days who knows.

Mo "King Mo" Lawal has signed a long-term deal to fight for Bellator and wrestle in TNA wrestling. Oh boy.
