I thought a double cheese burger was 99cents? Why did I pay a 1.12 for something that's supposed tobe 99cents?

And what's the difference between a "mcdouble" and a double cheeseburger?

And when the hell has it been the norm to spend 6 bucks on a big mac meal.

what the hell is going on?

Why are you eating McDs to begin with? :funny:

I was hungry. So I just bought a double cheeseburger and a sweet tea. The big mac meal was for my little brother.

the extra 13 cents was tax I guess.

no...because the tax wasn't on my tea. I seriously think the raised the price of the cheeseburger

You know, if we had the FairTax... that little difference in change wouldn't matter because you'd be getting 100% of your paycheck and would gladly spend the difference. [/SuBe]

it's always been over .99 ever since the dollar menu has been introduced. only not too long ago it was 1.08

the double cheeseburger USED to be .99 cents. but due to the economy, they had to raise the price, i think its like a 1.12 now or something. but in place of that, on the dollar menu they now have the mcdouble, which is the same thing as the double cheeseburger, except it doesnt have cheese.

Yes, no one has answered this correctly yet so I will. Lol its embarassing that I know this. McDonalds put the double cheeseburger on the value-menu (priced at 1.29)...not to be confused with the dollar menu. The Mcdouble is exactly the same as the double cheeseburger with one less piece of cheese, and as a result it is now .99 lol.

**** lol too late.

Don't feel bad lol. I was gonna say the same thing if you hadn't. I saw a thing on tv about this not too long ago.

I'm upset that I can't eat McDonalds anymore. The one by my school doesn't put enough salt on their fries and they give me weird looks and nothing else if I ask for those little salt packets which they apparently don't have.

Double Cheeseburger= Two Patties, Two slices of cheese, etc...
McDouble= Two Patties, One slice of cheese, etc.

That's the big difference. All that extra cost for a simple slice of cheese.

Wow, no wonder I never work in fast food...

That is ridiculous! What a waste of thirteen cents! Do you know how many amazing and necessary things you could buy with that thirteen sense? How dare they?!

Such as...?

Burger King raised their prices too. Almost spent 10 bucks the other day on one meal.

The economy blows.
