I mean Corman’s Fantastic Four is the best Fantastic Four film that actually has the name Fantastic Four on it. :o

I mean yeah, of course. Just messin' around.

I hope Wyatt Wingfoot is in the new movies. The MCU needs more 1st Nation representation.

What villains do we wanna see the FF fight, besides Doom and Galactus? Annihilus would be good because he can carry over into the space movies to fight the Guardians or Captain Marvel.

Off-topic: RIP to Black Panther Chadwick Boseman. :(

I was really looking forward to him acting opposite to whomever was going to play the FF in a future movie.

I think the Corman film had the best story and ROTSS had the best visuals. A good director with the Corman script (and the ability to make some tweaks) and the budget and special effects people from ROTSS could have made a pretty good film.

For the MCU version, Feige will hire Corman and Story to team up! Maybe they can find a role for Josh Trank too. Gopher?

:funny: I bought Trank's Al Capone film actually expecting it to be pretty good.

Wow. It wasn't just bad, it was terrible. We made it about 20 minutes in and after some mumbling, boring dialogue, a story that seemed to be going nowhere and Al Capone peeing his pants and then pooing his bed, my wife and I decided to give up and turn it off.

Trank has a real talent for taking great stories like FF and Al Capone and making them completely unwatchable.

So Trank ****s the bed of every movie he makes, and now his characters also do that as well?

:lmao:

I had actually thought he was a decent director and FFprobably wasn't representative of what he could do.

But after Capone, if anyone hires him again, they get what they deserve.

Who is that moustache-twirling Johnny Storm?

 Not bad. I’m not sure about Ben, but I agree that he’s probably hardest to cast. I’d spend more time looking.

They definitely have high expectations to meet from us fans- especially with the history of the property- but if anyone can do it, it's Marvel Studios and Sarah Finn (their casting director). If it were up to me, I would go as young as I reasonably could (Reed and Ben, I think, still have to be a little older) just for longevity purposes.

If you liked the video, I would definitely recommend the ones this guy made on the X-Men.

Do you have any casting for Ben in mind?

I’m having trouble thinking of any well- known actors who are the right age and fit what I’m looking for.

I think a young Bruce Willis would be close, so I might try to find a relatively unknown actor who has a similar style.

Dacre Montgomery would definitely be a great Johnny. But that mustache made me think of another possibility in Keean Johnson, if we're going to be casting young.

YES. We’re getting closer to the MCU FF, everyone. Only a matter of time.

By the way, we also know that at one point or another Marvel wanted to introduce the FF in Ant-Man 3. I think we’ll start seeing the seeds planted for the FF in Ant-Man’s third solo outing.

When Jonathan Majors gets cast but it isn't Cyclops...

I'm excited for him as Kang, though slightly concerned about Peyton Reed getting tasked with introducing the hopeful "New Thanos." But this is REALLY interesting for the Fantastic Four because, unless they're making some drastic changes, Reed is going to be Black.

No guarantee that Kang will be the Thanos...it has been assumed that Doom will be stepping into that role...what makes you think the F4 won't be left alone like they look in the comics, like it should be???

Hardly a major loss.
