That would be wild, if its time travel and Cynthia showed up? I also know that they are hinting that Mephisto could be the threat in Loki....well one way or another, we know Doom is coming, I just hope SOME sort of reference whether its to him or to Latveria is in the year 2021....

"Shared" creditIf this rumor blows up on the internet, I want credit.![]()

Well, since they hired Watts again. I assume they’ll take a similar approach they did with Spider-Man and refrain from retelling the origin for a third time, but then again, the FF origin isn’t nearly as iconic as Spider-Man’s so who really knows?I wonder if we'll get a third origin story this time round. I personally wouldn't mind another one given that the other two origin movies weren't good and I love origin stories.

LMAO...Ahhh Superhero Squad...love that show...
well here is a nice comic book screenshot of Cynthia:

Eric Voss from New Rockstars says the hooded individual seems to be a woman and suggests it might be Lady Loki.
Remember, the Loki series was obviously in the works since Endgame was filmed and back then Doom was still a Fox property.

I will point out it’s still possible their origin can still be done in other MCU related movies and shows before their first film. After all, we first saw Black Panther’s origin story in Civil War two years before his solo movie came out. This question really depends on whether or not they really think the origin story is worth retelling again, and if they do it in a fresh way.
Personally I still think Marvel will mostly avoid the origin story in the movie but hint at it dialogue. One idea I’ve tossed around before is that they could handle it in the form of an animated opening sequence co-narrated by the team that would serve as cliff-notes for origin. So imagine the animated Birds Of Prey opening where Harley Quinn is narrating her origin to the viewer(can’t link here due to strong cursing) but it’s with the Fantastic Four doing this.
Or they could do what they did with the Incredible Hulk and just do something like this again.
This is a neat opening that sums up everything you to know about the Green Goliath. So maybe something like that where you see the visuals play out with no dialogue where you see the space travel, you see the transformation sequence, and you see them putting their hands together in order to swear to use their powers to make the world a better place — all covered in little over a minute instead of taking over 2 hours to tell in a movie like in the previous movies.

I just came up with the best Fantastic Four subtitle for the movie.
Fantastic Four: The Fourth Time’s The Charm.![]()

Maybe they left it ambiguous deliberately so that they could make it anyone they wanted when the time came.
Giving us Cynthia would already be sowing the seeds of one of Doom's prime motivations for why he does certain things. Many of this time travel shenanigans are precisely for this reason.
Haha, I swear I heard someone else come up with that during the Disney stream thread too. Can’t be coincidence that, must be fate. Feige better be listening!@Willie Lumpkin: @Iceman @BobJM @Dark Raven

Neither the Trank movie or the Corman movie are what one would call “good” movies but if I had the Infinity Gauntlet and had to choose which movie between the Corman one or the Trank version to snap away from existence Thanos-style I think you can make an educated guess on which movie I like to pretend didn’t happen.
... Which begs the question are you leaving off Corman ... or Trank.

I like your idea of Reed re-enacting the origin through holograms in a speech he gives. Your idea kind of reminds me of that scene in Civil War where Tony is giving a presentation at Massachusetts University and uses holograms to re-enact some of his memories of the very last time he saw his parents. In any case, the origin really shouldn’t be the forefront of the story. At least in the sense of it being a story of how they got their powers. In my FF story pitch, the film would already open with the team formed & going on adventures with their newfound powers. It’s easy enough to construct an exposition dump to catch the audiences up—I proposed Reed recounts their origins to the audience at the Future Foundation keynote address (think Reeds’ similar speech in Hickmans’ run or even Tony Stark at MIT in Civil War). Complete with holograms & all.
The rest of the film has plot elements tying to the Negative Zone which can further delve into their origins/transformation without having to go backwards.
As a Star Wars fan too it was overall one of the best presentations I’ve seen for an upcoming content slate and updates. Not going to lie. The Marvel side of Disney’s Investors day surpassed even the 2019 Hall H Panel for me.
I know it's weird to say, but he had a brilliant performance on my mom's old soap back in day, Guiding Light, I knew he could break out perhaps. I actively watched the damn show because of his character, and his love interest.Love love love the Tom Pelphrey suggestion
Yeah, especially since that movie definitely isn’t “family friendly” with a scene like this.I’m disappointed with Disney for putting it on Disney+. They should have drawn a line.
