Yeah man, whatever happened to Carmine, Darko and Milkman....I haven't seen Carmine here in ages. And yeah- it's probably just the fact that the population has boomed about 100%.....I don't know why so many of those posters have left the Hype! since then....it's a shame.

I didn't remember all the numbers at the end of your name.....(who am I to talk though, right?)...but believe me- you're remembered lol.

And yeah, the Snipesignal worked for a time. He'd see it easily when scrolling...but then we were asked to stop posting it after about a month. It was in nearly every thread..because every thread seemed to go bad- or people were spamming it.

Also, where has Alonsovich been? Haven't seen him on the batboards in a little while either.

But those pictures are my favorite suprises lurking in these boards. They have single handedly made me laugh out loud a billion times over they really are not that disrespectful. besides anyone who is honestly going to get emotionally offended over something so trivial as an internet post probably shouldn't be putting themselves out there for the masses. Seriously though don't turn this into a fascist blogging state. Has Jett secretely taken over these boards? Hmmmmm....

I could not agree with you more... i posted something similar to this on another forum.. why don't you post something like" Hey if you feel offended by some one in the forum for saying **** or what ever it is, contact me directly and i will address the issue personally" allot of the users here are just sometime just mocking or just messing around with each other, there have been many times where i've been told a harsh word here and there, it just doesn't do me any harm, i understand if the users are using hateful or racist or what ever that is not PC i would understand creating a good standard on the dialog, but i think this is just taking a bit too far, is dam near communist like ...and now you want to take that away from them, that is just wrong

How are ppl constantly misinterpreting what Matt has said ? No one is saying don't debate and discuss, the problem is when posters start being *******s to each other and trying to out-smartarse each other, then it turns to flames. If posters aren't capable of putting forth their view without attacking each other, maybe they shouldn't be at a keyboard to begin with.

I have come to notice something as of late. You guys seem to think it is okay to talk down to or insult people with differing opinions from the majority. Thats gotta end. Mmk? I've probated three people for it today and that will continue until you learn how to play nice with one another.

Believe it or not, people are allowed to not think that Bale is the second coming or that Nolan's vision is not perfect. You are allowed to disagree with them. You are allowed to debate with them. You are not allowed to insult them, flame them, or troll their threads. That includes posting those stupid "Wrong" or "****" pictures. I don't care if you so much as call the person an idiot. From this point on, if you cannot respect the opinions of other posters, you will be punished.

If you have any questions on this policy, feel free to ask in here.

The type of activity that Matt is describing should not involved any poster who considers themselves a member of TSOTBF and is the type of activity that we should be helping to monitor as part of our mission statement.

Lets do more than have as a part of our sig. that we are a member. Lets do our part to help the mods by reporting flames and trolling behavior.

Hame... just because you LOL at something repeatedly doesn't make it any less annoying or even hurtful after a while. I'll admit that some of them make me chuckle... one

might be mildly amusing, but when people use those as their sole form of communication in some threads not only does it get old and irritating but it's just lame. We're here to discuss The Dark Knight (or whatever other topics are going on in other forms) not to trade .gifs back and forth. There's a thread for that in Community - there's no reason we can't up the bar a little bit here on the most populated forum on the Hype.

As a veteran of the Superman Forums during Superman Returns, I think this is a great attempt by Matt and the moderating team to stimy the situation but in all reality it is just as much up to them as it is each and every poster on the BatBoards. You are the ones who hold this board together and you are the ones who are ultimately going to be responsible for its success or its failure as a civil hangout to discuss Batman. Matt, Hunter Rider, and other Mods can't do it alone. It has to be a team effort.

I love this place, It's like Iraq! Everyone has such high expectations, the leaders say all the right things, but there are still suicide bomber running into threads with IMD's like "Nolan is without flaw" "Permawhite" "I dont like the Joker wearing Make-up" and "Where is Alfreds Mustache?".
