Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

Remains to be seen. A bus is a very different proposition from holding a plane by a wing tip. The bus could have a strong subframe added for him to carry it like that.

I agree on principle. However, when I watched MOS for the first time one of the things I liked about it was when Superman's first flight is shown, when he's out in the ice and snow. A second or two before he launches, we see small pebbles and dust surrounding his fist slowly rise from the ground and start circling. This suggests that some sort of field is generated in and around his body when he flies which can potentially affect other objects too, and is not just strictly limited to only his body. Is it some type of anti-gravity which he subconsciously controls? Maybe. But I liked the idea that when he's trying to hold or move something much, much larger and heavier than himself, that field can extend to it and lessen the effect of gravity on obvious stress points. It's not just a mythical aura then, but a beneficial side effect from the same power that allows him to defy gravity.
The bus yeah possibly he could lift, need myth busters to sort that out.

The rocks lifting around Superman as he was taking off I think is cool as a visual and works in a world that is trying to make a more grounded Superman film post Nolan Batman (does it make sense..not really but it gives us ideas as to how his flight might work, but I don't really care for an explanation for that)

Yes the movie is trash but I just don't want to see anything like Justice League where he is carrying an entire building, it looks so dumb. On the other hand we have a great scene in another bad film Superman Returns when he is saving the plane. He has to think a lot more and the way he lands it at least felt more realistic.

I just think it's more fun when he has to use his smarts to think about how to fix a predicament and sometimes the aura seems to be a get out of jail free card.

Yup, I don’t dislike the Snyder era films as much as some but that building carrying scene was just silly looking

You're referring to the Whedon version of JL, yes? (I ask because I've never seen it.)

Water, carbs, and salt. And maybe diuretics? (I hope not the latter, they are really dangerous). Makeup too maybe?

In all serious though, diet can be used to affect a person's physical appearance. Professional bodybuilders manipulate water, salt, and carbs to fine tune how they look on stage as do fitness models for photoshoots. Whether someone is holding water can change how their face look.

David could cut salt for when he is shooting as Superman and then increase salt and water when shooting as Clark and it could make his features look softer as Clark.

How would that work when he was shooting Clark and Superman scenes back to back though? The day of that Clark Kent pic we saw him filming as Superman during the morning, then in the afternoon as Clark, and then immediately after as Superman again.

Honestly, I don't know. I know fitness models and bodybuilders can tweak things between morning and night. Not sure if they can do morning, then afternoon, then night.

As I mentioned, it could also be makeup as well. His Superman makeup could use contouring to highlight his cheekbones, etc. and then they make him up as Clark to soften his features.

I do got to wonder if this is his final Clark Kent look? or not? as it does give off more of a first day on the job kinda vib...

like this might be a flashback scene (an his hair like that was meant to make him look younger)

then we see him in present day with a more slick/mature look as Clark

Things can change by Gunn has said there will be no flash backs. Words can be twisted and what not but I doubt this is a flash back and just Clark on his way to work. I don't think Clark is going to be a fully mature mans man in this film. I think it will be closer to MAWS even though Clark is younger in that, but heck I'm 37 and some people think I'm mid 20s and that's without Hollywood money to look after my self.

"Flash back" was maybe the wrong choice of words...

just that we might see a time skip, or the story taking place over the course multiple years

but, the quote from Gunn was referring to there not being a flash back to his childhood and origin of being found....

Yeh I get what you mean, I proposed the same question a while back that if the story started at an earlier time and then jumped to "20 years later" would that count as a flash back.

I've seen big forklifts lift buses from the bottom at the middle with no problem, so I don't think Superman would have a problem with that.

Planes or ships tho? Thats a different story.
That's one thing SR got right. Superman broke the wing completely off trying to stop the spin.

Yeah sweet well that's fine then. But yeah I don't like the bigger objects just being held with one hand on a weird spot that would certainly break.

I think he's hand would actually sink into the metal from the weight. Small object vs big object.
