Crimson Typhoon looks like Kaneda's motorbike transformed into a robot. I am in lesbians with Crimson Typhoon.

I'm glad to see they're making toys for this. I thought that was a hugely missed opportunity with Real Steel, which is a movie I love.

I'm kinda pissed that the movie was renamed Círculo de Fogo (Circle of Fire) in my country.
I wonder if it has anything to do with anything in the movie. These guys...

The Pacific Rim is geographical, and one of its nicknames is the Circle or Ring of Fire.

What's the source on the new images?

Figures look pretty neat.

My god how is this movie getting all this stuff??? It feels like this is getting more merch than Man of Steel! Since when did untested new properties get stuff like this?

Real Steel did have toys. They just didn't market well.

Since the concept allows for basically an unlimited amount of new characters created :yay:

Had you not seen it before? Also, don't most of the Jaegers have 2 pilots? The Chinese Jaeger has 3.

They're seeing this as a potential new franchise. Everything from video games, cartoons, spinoffs, toys, whatever. Possibilties are endless because the concept itself is so simple to an extent.

I was unaware the Coyote Tango had a revised blueprint. I'm pretty surprised.

The figures look pretty great. I'm even more excited now.

I wonder if the Coyote Tango having only one pilot before might've been an artwork error.

Ah I missed that it was revised. That is odd.

holy Kaiju! I missed that too. Originally Coyote Tango on had one pilot shown in the blueprint. I wonder when the change was made. So that means that all the Jaegers shown so far have a minimum of 2 pilots with Crimson Typhoon to be the only one so far with 3.

Possible. I remember the blueprint for the jaeger with three arms had three pilots in it.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm thinking Coyote Tango is the "legendary" Jaeger from the past the plot mentions.

Also, NECA's Striker Eureka action figure: http://www.blogcdn.com/www.comicsalliance.com/media/2013/02/141a3426.jpg
