Pacific Rim - Part 2

The only trailer that got a big reaction when I saw MAN OF STEEL Friday morning was the trailer for PACIFIC RIM. There were a lot of audible gasps and hoots leading up to GIPSY DANGERS tanker smackdown, then silence and then one guy in the row behind me going "Hell yeah!". I'd say the pump is primed for this one.

Really cause at the midnight screening for MoS I got no reaction.

I seriously hope they are playing these in theaters cause I think they would garner a lot more interest than the trailers for the GA. I mean if this comes in behind Grown Ups 2 for the weekend then....

HEY ! :cmad:
Hayek's bewbage is a match for Gypsy Danger's plasmagun

Reactions during trailers depend on a lot of things I think, but I know that in all the years I've went to the movies, there is never a big reaction during the trailers, at most (and that's for Man Of Steel or TDKR), there are a couple of whispers (even in a packed room), and that's it, god, I hate this.

My enthusiasm for PR has certainly increased with the most recent trailers. Idris Elba is an excellent actor but I don't know what it is about his delivery of the "we are cancelling the apocalypse" line but I cringe every time I hear that line

I like the line.

Yeah, the only time I get massive reactions from action blockbusters is if there are any young kids in the theatre. Now comedies with crazy lines usually get responses from adults.

I just can't seem to get excited for this movie.
I was the trailer in IMAX for MOS. And I thought it looked... Meh.

I want this to be more than just an action movie in the worst way...

Several pages of the art book have been leaked. I saw some major ones myself. Be careful out there folks

@slashfilm: #PacificRim: The action is insane, and feels huge and heavy. Biggest surprise is the humor. Ron Pearlman steals his scenes.

https://twitter.com/search?q=#PacificRim&src=hash@slashfilm: #PacificRim: Charlie Day’s performance is like 75% Rick Moranis from Ghostbusters and 25% Doc Brown.

@slashfilm: #PacificRim: @travisbeacham’s script is filled to the brim with mythology which makes the world feel real and expansive.

He also did a couple seasons of TORCHWOOD, the Dr Who spinoff.

He also killed Craster on Game of Thrones.

"You are a bastard. A daugher-****ing, Wildling bastard."

Glad to see the positive reactions. I'm so excited to see this.

Just got back from Man of Steel, it was fantastic by the way.

The third Pacific Rim trailer was with it. It looked so incredibly awesome on the big screen, I was freaking out of breath and sweating when it was over. Having never seen the trailers on the big screen before, it was immense.

Also, looks like a new set of posters are coming. This time featuring Jaeger weapons.

This will be the experience Transformers would've been if the material had been in more capable hands...each trailer looks more awesome than the last.

Now that MoS has been released I hope WB ramps up the marketing.
