Civil War Panthers vs. Broncos... Who cares!? The Official Civil War Super Bowl Spot Thread

It wasn't between those screens, it was right towards the end of the full set of hashtags.

There's nothing there during or after the hashtags except at the end - Marvel & This Film Is Not Rated.

I still don't think there's anything there.

I have an awful feeling Spidey's gonna be in this movie for less than 10 minutes

Well I'm just happy he's in the movie. They said he had a arc. They can do that in less than 10 minutes. 15-20 minutes atleast counting the time he's on screen with other heroes as well. But you have to remember this is Caps movie first and foremost and there are other characters more important than Peter.

This right here is why I'm getting tired of all the Spider-Man fans complaining and/or worrying about him.

Yeah, we should honestly be greatful for whatever they show of Spider-Man in this film.

Or the arrogance suggesting that Marvel is screwing themselves over by not heavily promoting Spider-Man.

IKR... Truly horrible, isn't it? We have a huge battle involving well over 10 Avengers with Black Panther and even Giant Man thrown in there. But that won't mean anything if Spider-Man, who isn't even among the more important characters in this one while getting his own movie only a year later, gets below 10 minutes of screentime...

Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh, but one must realize that this isn't even Spider-Man's movie. We have a whole treasure chest of other characters in it as well, not to mention that Spider-Man's movie is coming only a year after CW is released

Seriously sometimes I forget just how incredible it is that this is even happening CW. Live Action. SO AWESOME!

Great numbers especially since the spot aired before kickoff when there were less viewers and the as was at least 50% off.

The Super Bowl isn’t just the highlight of the American sporting calendar, it’s also an important moment for Hollywood too, with all the big studios showcasing their wares during the lucrative (and numerous) ad breaks.

A record-breaking 114.4m Americans watched the 2015 Super Bowl live, so the price of a 30-second spot during the 2016 ad breaks skyrocketed to an incredible $5 million (£3.45m).

But which movie studio got the most bang for their buck?

Yahoo Movies teamed up with PR agency Way To Blue to measure the social media buzz generated by each movie trailer and it seems the biggest winner on the night was ‘Captain America: Civil War’ which generated over 100k mentions on social media after its 30-second TV spot aired.

Here’s what Way To Blue learned:

- ‘Captain America’ secured the highest volume of buzz with 129.413 mentions, ‘The Jungle Book’ swinging into second place with 65,720 mentions.
- However ‘The Jungle Book’ secured the highest Intent To View score, with 6,112 of those mentions expressing a desire to see the film as a result of the Superbowl footage.
- ‘The Jason Bourne’ reveal landed in third place both in terms of overall buzz , with 60,081 mentions and 3,322 saying how they couldn’t wait to see the new film.
- ‘Deadpool’s cheeky Superbowl spot resulted in the biggest bump in Facebook likes with the official page landing an additional 146,366 likes post the big game.
- Tying up with brands was a savvy strategy for ‘Kung Fu Panda 3′ and Ant-Man, and Hulk. The partnerships with Wix and Coke resulted in the two biggest YouTube Views for all the movie spots show during the Superbowl.

Their Youtube info is a bit off though. Even if they're just counting during the game it was higher than that since it was spread over several channels and Marvel was late in putting it up on their own. (now it's over 8.7m over the first 4 YT uploads - more than twice as much as the closest X-men and Bourne)

The “Captain America: Civil War” trailer that aired during the Super Bowl dominated social media volume on the day of the big game, according to a survey by comScore.

The “Captain America” TV spot generated 196,000 conversations — about 95% of them on Twitter and the rest on Facebook — during and after Super Bowl 50.

The total was a higher volume than the combination for the rest of the official movie spots, led by Fox’s “X-Men: Apocalypse” at 26,900, Universal’s “Jason Bourne” at 19,700, Disney’s “Jungle Book” at 18,400, Paramount’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” at 8,500, Fox’s “Independence Day: Resurgence” at 4,300, Paramount’s “10 Cloverfield Lane” at 2,700 and Universal’s “Secret Life of Pets” at 1,800.

The “Captain America” volume also topped last year’s top films, “Jurassic World” and “Furious 7” — both of which generated about about 47,500 conversations.

Disney’s Super Bowl ad for “Captain America: Civil War” dropped during the pre-game show Sunday, asking viewers to choose a side: #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan. While Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were able to work together before, thanks to a common goal, a rift forms between the two in “Civil War,” splitting the superheroes up.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans return as Iron Man and Captain America, respectively. Additionally, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd will be coming back to the franchise.

Along with Holland’s Spidey, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther will also make his Marvel debut in “Civil War.” “Captain America: Civil War,” directed by Joe and Anthony Russo from a script by “Winter Soldier” writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, will hit theaters May 6.
#TeamCap was a global and U.S. trend on Twitter in the fourth quarter. Disney launched 11-character emojis at the spot’s kickoff.

Hmm, must have been a playback glitch on my phone then.
It's weird, as it happened one multiple viewings at the same spot, but watching it again now on my computer, no flash at all.

Oh well.

Marvel still going strong.

And people are saying Marvel is 5th on the list for most anticipated CBM of 2016... HA! :o

Couldn't find any thread about fan made trailers. So, I'm putting my fan made trailer here;
