Dude, I can't remember where I saw someone posted a link to an interview where PG stated that in his encounter with Spiderman, he embraced what he can do; but obviously realize his vulnerabilities.

So that just leave me to think, since his role is introductory in this film, and will have a more major role in TASM3; just appear to me he will address these so-called vulnerabilities in the next film with a better suit....or technologies to eliminate those issues.

Happy Rhino. I hope Paul Giamatti looks as happy as this as the Rhino.

Yeah, I doubt we'll see Rhino until maybe the final trailer or even the TV spots. It's possible we won't see him at all too. I'd actually prefer that tbh. There's always the toys...they give everything away :cwink:. I'm thinking most of the first trailer will feature the footage that was shown at CC.

I'd prefer they not show him. I want to be surprised while watching the movie.

Sony won't miss a chance to use the Rhino for marketing purposes, after all would they take a well known villian from the comics and not show him so fans can be surprised Or show him off with a possibility of getting people excited and wanna see the film

I feel the same. It'd be nice to see it for the first time while watching the movie and just have the effect of being excited/happy in the moment.

You're probably right. Though I doubt we'll see the Rhino until much later. I'm thinking it won't be until the final trailer.

It doesn't matter to me, but then again spoilers never seem to effect how I feel about a film one way or the other.

I'm guessing the suit will bond to him in some way, otherwise they're going to make things difficult when trying to explain how he gets the same suit again when the Sinister Six emerge

Imagine this cinematic masterpiece... An entire 5 minutes of the Sinister 6 breaking out of Ravencroft in IMAX 3D. Nerdgasm.

I just still don't understand how they'll be able to fit Sinister Six in this series, especially when they are clearly doing Green Goblin

As an alternative theory, I *suppose* the suit could be confiscated off him and stored somewhere after his defeat in TASM2, which he reclaims after breaking out?

There's always the possibility he gets a second suit built for him if they don't want to go the 'bonding' route.

I know this is old news in a way but Paul Giammi talks about what he loves about playing Rhino, talks a little about the suit and how he feels why more actors wants to play in superhero movies

Giamatti: Superheroes fun to play

25 NOVEMBER 2013

Paul Giamatti has said he thinks the reason so many serious actors want to be in superhero films is because it offers them a bit of light relief and a chance to overact.
The Parkland star will play baddie Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and said he loved having the chance to ham up his acting.

He said: "In the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, when they made c****y superhero series, it was all the worst actors in the world, and now it's all the great, revered British actors, it's hilarious. It's all flip-flopped, it's really funny to me.

"I guess those things are kind of operatics, you need big old hammy actors sometimes. I personally like doing stuff like that, I liked comic books when I was a little kid and just thought it would be a lot of fun, which is probably why the great British actors are doing it, too."

Paul, 46, explained a bit more about his character, Rhino: " In the comic books of old, he had a suit on that made him look like a rhino and it made him super strong. If there was a bank vault, he could butt through it with his head but he wasn't very smart.

"It's updated now, I have a particular type of suit but I don't think I'm supposed to talk about it. He's a Russian mobster because he's a Russian guy in the comic books."

Asked what his Russian accent was like, Paul admitted: "It's pretty hammy, I loved doing it. It seemed to me like an opportunity to be as over the top hammy as possible. It's really fun."

:: Paul Giamatti's latest film Parkland is in cinemas now.

I hope this is what they base The Rhino's suit off of. Hey it also explains how he can get out of it or not.

Damn. I was kinda right.

By now you guys already saw MEGAZORD RHINO. Ew.

Whoever designed the Rhino shouldn't of been hired, this rhino sucks. It's just a horrible looking piece of crap.

ah more poeple to put on the ignore list and you really havent seen even a clear image yet

i don't see the problem with it, it was always going to be robotics based because its the only way that sorta things would work, its obviously based on the ultimate design, and he will obviously be able to stand on back legs and be pretty damn big

the only interesting difference would be the 4 leg charge which i have to say took me by surprise but oddly no one has brought that up as an issue, its just because it looks almost transformer-ish, which again i don't mind it looks like a rhino like people wanted it too

As someone who loved the Rhino in the Spiderman Animated series in the 90's, this suit is a BIG disappointment. The Lizard was bad enough, Rhino looks 10 times worse. Major thumps down from me.
