Trask gets killed but come on! It’s a time travel movie so everything resets, just like in the future

He would be dead dead if he dies in the past because it is before the new future is created meaning he wont exist in the future

I'll be avoiding Manila Vanilla's posts like the Legacy Virus.

Come on Malik...people have been putting the spoilers in tags and you keep commenting on them as if it's common knowledge. Geez this is like the second time now.

Peter Dinklage DOFP interview

My friend said that everyone was saying trask wasn't portrayed well before we saw the movie but I thought Dinklage was amazing.

It's just a shame they didn't chuck in a scene between him and magneto because I like the idea of seeing these two guys who are genocidal psychopaths and yet batting for opposite sides of the team

I was actually surprised that they made him more complex than the "I hate mutants" guy that he was in the comics. The old saying is that the best kind of villains are the ones that think that they're the good guy, and Trask fits that bill perfectly. He essentially wants world peace. He doesn't even particular hate mutants (he even admits to admiring them in certain ways). He just sees them as a "threat" that could unite humanity and stop all of the pointless death/destruction/war that's been going on. That's actually a pretty interesting motivation.
