Phoenix vs Superman (In his strongest form)

Well...........

  • Phoenix

  • Superman

Phoenix Force are responsible for life in the multiverse...

Superman in his storngest form is Superman Prime and Superman Prime is a God and I mean really a God. There is no way Phoenix can beat a God.

I just dont think Superman Prime is a fair match with anyone. Besides with his hgher state of consciousness, I don't think he'd be worrying about "slugfests" like this. He'd just be getting the other Supermen to fight the Phoenix.

But he did say in his strongest form did he not? And in his strongest form he is Superman Prime. Though your right he wouldn't wory to much just either give other Supermen more power then her, since he does give off power like it is nothing.

No as a matter a fact it's exactly why the Shi'ar came after Phoenix in the first place, in fact its the catalyst for the entire Dark Phoenix Saga and why she was ordered to be killed off by EiC Jim Shooter...

X3 as is the case with almost all Superhero films, sucks in comparison to the comics. Like most films in downplays the abilities of these characters.

yep but he still is no match for spiderman though. Not a knock on him because no one in marvel is

As far as I know, that is not how his powers work. Please show me an example where Bobby has done anything even close to that. Superman has survive in the coldest reaches of outerspace, well below freezing- near absolute zero temps, so I doubt Iceman could freeze his lungs.
Yeah go read Uncanny X-Men 314, or Uncanny X-Men 331 (In which he freezes the bloodflow to Emma Frost's brain--stopping just short of killing her)

I don't think you've read a Spider-Man issue then...hell DareDevil used to beat on Spidey...
daredevilbeatsspidey4es.jpg

And no Spider-Man does not get up nor re-appear in that particular issue.

Point is Spider-Man gets beat--A LOT--the comic version he is depicted that way so he is more relatable. He is not, nor has ever been unbeatable...his popularity has nothing to do with his abilities or win/lose percentage.

Especially since she could just get rid of anyone in that movie with a thought, yet Wolverine could survive her attacks. LAME!!! :down

Yeah it kind of screamed of plot device. So who don't we want in this film but cannot think of a creative way to get rid of....oh I know death by Phoenix.

The original Phoenix Saga made so much more sense because she would not even attempt to kill Scott, and when Scott calls her bluff on it, thats when she starts to get control.

Pardon me if im wrong but wasnt spiderman under some kind of mind control in that issue???????????

ok first off whoever said wonder women is stronger then supes. get real

and as far as his most powerful yes it is superman prime who defeated solaris rather quickly and supes would be a god and immortal

:supes:
It is not recorded what happened to Superman Prime during his long exile from Earth, but it is believed that he learned much about himself and his powers. While the powers of the Superman Dynasty evolved over the years Superman Prime did not gain the extra mental powers or sensory abilities obtained by the union with the Fifth Dimension. Upon his return it became evident that he had certainly changed becoming almost god like in terms of power. There is evidence for this in his resurrection of Lois Lane (with help from Lzyxm Ltpkz) and his covenant with the Superman Dynasty. The Superman Prime that appeared out of the sun in the year 85,271 is certainly the most powerful member of the Superman Dynasty ever seen and it is quite conceivable that he is now a New God despite his returned humanity. It should be also noted that Superman Prime is currently in possession of the last of the Green Lantern power rings.

Yes he was, however mind control ought to make you more dangerous, especially in Spider-Man's case since he holds back on human opponents for fear of killing them (not so much with metas...but Spider-Man is still too much of a wuss to really let loose on people). Since he was being controlled, he had no allusions about killing people/attackers. Also mind control is and always will be a writers way of getting two heroes, who would otherwise be friendly towards eachother, to fight.

You forgot he did go to the Source Wall and learned everything there is to know.

Phoenix would make him mortal and seprate every molecule in his body.

And yeah prime possesses the most powerful GL ring which makes Hal look like crap.

And how do you propose she does that whole 'turn him into a mortal' thing?

Well, I guess if we're taking Phoenix at her best she could do that.

Wait so the Phoenix is possessed with omniscience as well? how would she know a red sun will affect SP?
