I'm surprised it has a review embargo.
Is that the release date for it? Wow, looking forward to seeing how it does. I won't be able to play until June.
I've got a work exam so can't start anything new till then. What's happening in June?

yap.I'm assuming he's talking about Bloodbourne.
review embargo?I'm surprised it has a review embargo.
oh. so sony stated that they put an embargo on the reviews and that's why they won't come out till tomorrow? An embargo on reviews means that publications and sites aren't allowed to put out their reviews and scores until a certain time and date.
meh. I don't like these review embargos.Typically there is either an embargo, or they simply don't send out advanced copies. They've sent out advanced copies.
So there must be an embargo.
Movies do similar things as well, mostly the sh**ty ones though. As in they won't have advanced press screenings for the film so the critics have to wait like just about everyone else in getting to see how the movie is.meh. I don't like these review embargos.
50 shades & chappie didn't. those are 2 movies recently this year that were fairly popular in the box office. btw, i replied to you in the alcohol threadMovies do similar things as well, mostly the sh**ty ones though. but reviews came out more than just one day before the game itself. bloodborne reviews come out tomorrow and the day after tomorrow the game. They didn't send out any advanced copies which is a de facto embargo.
Everyone is so risk adverse. Publishers don't even release demos anymore because they're afraid that if people can try the game, they won't buy it. I think this points to a large problem. Games aren't being designed to be fun anymore. Everyone wants their tearjerker story and cinematography. I'm glad Ready at Dawn fell flat on their faces with The Order. "Gameplay is something that... it's a game, we make games, we can't get around it." It couldn't have happened to a more deserving developer.
this. Can you not do both? I think Naughty Dog at least has proven that you can.

what do you mean? you don't think their 7th gen games were a good blend of gameplay and story combined? Not to me they haven't.
