I wonder where Rucka would go if Punisher got canned. I hope he'd stay with Marvel and do something interesting, but it seems a lot likelier that he'd just go back to indie work.

Personally I would like to see Rucka return to DC and do Detective Comics. Unlike Chuck Dixon, Ed Brubaker, and Mark Waid, I don't think that he left DC with bad blood.

He's done enough Batman stuff for me. I'd really love to see him take on some major Marvel character that no one would've obviously connected him to and knock it out of the park. Sort of like he did with Wonder Woman over at DC.
