Days of Future Past Possible X-men to appear in FC and Sequels?

Oh about some of the filming locations being uk and some parts of ireland. Moria is going to be a part of this film, and if there filming in the uk then possibly we will see them attend oxford university, and if they are scouting for ireland locations then that just suggests Muir Island, and well that raises the question of Black Tom Cassidy and Juggernaut.

Muir Island is off the coast of Scotland

It's fictional but that's where it's located in the comics.

I would love to see Muir Island. I dont think it would be that hard to introduce.

And Black Tom Cassidy could be a good villian. But No Juggsy. If their was a little back story in X3 then yes but not now.

I think Havok, Polaris, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch all in one movie would make things a little harder, and in the spirit of 'less is more', I think the main cast should be more or less the size that it was in the first X-Men movie. Add to it the fact that Blob was hinted at being killed by Sabretooth in the Wolverine movie, and the ranks would definitely be thinned out somewhat.

I think the characters rescued from Stryker's base should be the 'first class', while the exceptional members of the crew (Storm, Beast, Cyclops, and Jean) rise up in the ranks to be the first X-Men. Some of the others feel rejected and turn to Magneto's way of thinking (Toad, Mystique, Quicksilver, and Sabretooth, if handled properly). Outside of that, we'd have to deal a lot with Scott and Alex's sibling rivalry and a falling out that explains why Havok was MIA in the rest of the films. And having three of Magneto's kids in the mix would definitely be a big effing deal, considering they're also never seen or heard from again, except for cameos on Stryker's computer.

Unless the kids are tied into his portion of the origins, and they say that the school was partially founded as a place for Erik to teach his kids to control their abilities, it'd just be a lot of time dedicated to characters who unfortunately don't matter to the franchise as a whole.

I honestly want the "teams" to be as follows
Xavier: Jean, Cyclops, Beast, Storm
Magneto: Mystique, Toad and maybe Blob. I'm not too sure on Mag's side, but having Sabretooth in there would be a problem. It'd be tough to explain.

The thing that frustrates me most about this movie is that even though he has no business being in the movie, Wovlerine WILL turn up at on point or another. Why? Because he has an ongoing movie franchise and, well, that's Fox...

hmm I don't think so...Wolverine should have no business APPEARING in this film, no if he is mentioned, then who cares...but I would like the team to be...Cyclops, Jean, Beast,Storm(if she is in it),Mystique, Magneto....others Banshee/Gambit...just by having Mystique/Magneto on the team you could see where the spilt will occur

I dont think Toad will be in it, based on his comment from X1, when he fought Storm, "don't you people ever die?!" so this could be his 1st time meeting/fighting the X-Men because he if was on the team then she should've know Storm's abilities...

I'm not sure about that. That line from Toad could've been interpreted in a number of ways. Toad did a great job neutralizing everyone's powers and remember, he had encountered them earlier at the train station too and he already know about Cyclops' visor and his inability to open his eyes.

Remember, Xavier knows who THEY are, so they must know who they are. "The man who attacked you was an associate of his called Sabretooth".

Near the end of X1:
Storm: "Mystique.."
Cyclops: "Son of a *****"

So, you have to consider the fact that either Magneto and/or his henchmen MUST have fought the X-Men in the past at some point where they knew their strengths and weaknesses and their names as well.

and if Wolverine was in the FC, only Hugh Jackman would be necessary to appear, and if he was involved in this movie in any way, we would've known about it. I'd say, maybe a gratuitous cameo at BEST could be expected.

It'd be hard to make it believable for somebody like Sabretooth to just be welcomed into the fold, but maybe take some cues from the movies to show that maybe Xavier slipped up in his pursuit of his dream of peaceful coexistence. Magneto's line about how Xavier thought taking in Wolverine would make up for how he screwed up with Jason Stryker in X2, well maybe Xavier just had a bad habit of trying to find the best in all the strays he brought home. We could see this in his friendship with Magneto, him accepting the likes of the Brotherhood into the fold, and even trying to help out Emma and Gambit. Maybe him having so much faith in people leads to some bad mojo, and he then has to harden and take a more active approach on taming the people he associates with (ie. the lengths at which he tried to keep Jean from hurting herself and the others around her, which ultimately backfires).

I agree with Mystique being with the X-men before. Perhaps she and Toad were controlled by Charles before Erik found out that he isn't always practicing the normal way to pursuade people.

I do love the story possibility of them touching on Jean's powers in First Class, but I think that would be better suited for a sequel if they do one.

Yes, it ties everything together, but I don't like when everything is tied together to the extent that it makes the X-Men universe so small. If this movie is to be the beginning of a new trilogy, I would rather they introduce new characters. Save the likes of Toad for later. It isn't necessary to sync this movie with X-Men (2000) yet.

I agree. Some new faces (who, for whatever reason, weren't present in the events of X1) would be good.

I'm just pointing out that from what we've seen in the movies, it would be totally feasible if they made Mystique a student at the mansion in FC. It would just further connect to a few of the elements that have already been explored...
