Agreed. I prefer Spider-Man with somewhat regular web pattern. That's one of my problems with the The Amazing Spider-Man costume.

It's only an armored version of the classic R&B, it's funky and I've seen it today in a picture displaying it for the new games

Not really. They just gave it to the wrong artist. It was a really good issue. The only reason he was forced to make it was because he lost his spider sense.
