After Fallout 6 I decided that would be the official end, nothing else needs to be seen
Gave UCSM 1 starring Milo a shot to see what it's like, think it's alright, don't care enough now that Pete is dead

If they made a plot introducing Pete before his death to Miles that would be interesting

Yes indeed Spider-Man is dead, can see in Ultimate Spider-Man issue 160,,,
Is ok by me...life is still going on, or can still read amazing spider-man until now.

I wouldn't quit just cause Peter's dead now, Miles Morales seems really cool so far and that past few issues have been great especially issue 4

Yeah, I think that's cool when Kaine died during the Grim Hunt he was reborn since he is technically Peter Parker.

Scarlet Spider is defenitely one of my most hyped series of 2012. Well, that and To The End of the Earth, which will take place in ASM.

Peter may be dead..but Spider-Man still lives on. I don't see the reason to stop reading just cause Peter is dead.....that's kinda silly.

Me personally I've always wondered what it would be like if Spider-Man died heroically, and how the world would react without Peter Parker and if someone would be his successor.

This obviously would never work in the mainstream 616 universe. But the Ultimate Universe is where it's possible and Bendis is a brilliant writer. I'm really enjoying where the story is going and Miles seems like a great successor for Peter so far, worthy of donning the mantle of Spider-Man. It will be interesting to see how things go for him with past Spidey villains, interacting with those who knew Peter, and what new characters will be introduced.

As a child of 20 years back I would agree, but then I started reading comics avidly since 2006 and found out that Pete appeals to me far more than Spider-Man does, the more interesting part is dead, and USM shows Pete far more than Spidey.
Aside from that, I always wanted to collect a comic book superhero story that comes to an end, Bendis did that to me, and I'm fine with that

Gwen hasn't responded to a new Spidey though. And we'll probably never see her reaction since Bendis wrote her and Aunt May to Italy or whatever.

That whole issue made no sense to me. Miles conveniently arrives on the scene of Peter's death just in time to see him kick the bucket, he conveniently gets in the center of everything to talk to Gwen and then very conveniently grabs her attention again at the funeral. All for the sake of teaching him how to be Spider-Man. I don't get it. It was all way too convenient. It offered no closure on Peter's behalf and I still don't understand why Miles feels responsible for something that he clearly had no control over. Just because he has powers that are similar to Spidey's he's supposed to feel guilty when the real Spidey dies? Over circumstances completely unique to him and him alone? Miles couldn't have done anything to prevent Peter from dying, he just would've gotten in the way and hurt more people. The kid really doesn't have a reason to be a superhero right now. I hope Spider-Woman tears him a new one and he rethinks his whole life and Ultimate Peter comes back. Problem solved.

You know why because his body looks enlarged by a radioactive spider bite and of course is make sense...or you can read in spidey wikipedia...

I think the first issue comes out January 11th. There was an 8 page story sort of as a prologue to this series in Marvel's big Point One issue that came out last week.

And yep, that is Kaine.
