Action-Adventure Power Rangers 4.0 - Part 2

Saban will score HUGE points with me if he brings back Ninjor as a mentor in the adaptation of Ninninger.

Yeah, I know I'm a dreamer and yes I'm a sucker for continuity which I think is vital to PR for me. If anything they should start a new continuity with Gosei leading another team, being Zordon's apprentice and all.

I started rewatching Samurai, and am finding that I'm enjoying it even more than I did the first time around. It's far better than general fandom opinion/perception says that it is, and really doesn't deserve the flack that it gets.

I've hit one of my 3 favorite episodes from the first half of the season, Sticks and Stones, and have to say that I'm finding even more to enjoy about it than I did before. It's a great episode for Emily, and is a really nice continuation of the story arc they started for her in Origins 2. I also really like her interactions with Mike, which take on a new and different context when the episode is watched with foreknowledge of his and her eventual romantic relationship.

When does a new season/new team line-up begin?

I finished the first 20 episodes of Samurai earlier tonight, and it's my opinion that there is FAR more to like about them than dislike overall. The villains are all sufficiently menacing and interesting (particularly Dayu), most of the characters are fleshed out (and to a greater degree than I had remembered), and aside from Forest for the Trees and the baffling airing order decisions re: The Team Unites and Origins 1 & 2, the narrative flows nicely and smoothly, starting out appropriately slow and then escalating until we reach a pseudo-culmination in The Ultimate Duel.

There's even more to like about the remaining 22 episodes of the season, but Origins through The Ultimate Duel provide a really nice foundation for those episodes to build upon, and they really deserve more appreciation than they get.

Those first episodes sound surprisingly good, remind me of something we would see back when PR was in it's prime

The mecha cockpit will take some serious getting used to. Definite ninja hierarchy setup

Haha, that's the cockpit? Looks like they're in someone's kitchen.

Looks so very 90's,however that dinosaur cgi may be the best cgi effect they've ever done or that I can remember seeing but the show could still end up being fun.

I need to see the Rangers in action!

In case you guys don't know, the first episode of Dino Charge will go up tomorrow on Nick.com! A full week before the television premiere.

So this series starts with just 2 rangers before likely adding more later? I think that's a first cause I can only remember the smallest groups starting out with 3

I like the new ninja theme for the upcoming super sentai.

Samurai and Shinkenger only started with just one Ranger before the rest were added.

How and where do you all watch the Japanese stuff?

That episode was fantastic. Can't wait to see the second part. HUUUGE thumbs up from me.

Chip Lynn > Jonathan Tzachor.

This is easily the best episode of PR since the relaunch. Which says alot about Samurai and Megaforce.
