Action-Adventure Power Rangers 4.0 - Part 2

In Space, Time Force and Lost Galaxy are my top three seasons.

I know seasons like Turbo and Lightspeed Rescue tend to get mixed reception among the PR fanbase, but rewatching these seasons, I find myself enjoying those a lot more than seasons like Mystic Force and Operation Overdrive. And aside from the first two or three episodes of Samurai, I haven't seen any Neo Saban season. From what I've read, I'm not missing too much there. Apparently Turbo and Lightspeed are masterpieces compared to those.

About a year ago, I rewatched Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue and Time Force and I must say, I actually really enjoyed all 3. Couldn't get all the way through Wild Force, though. Don't like it at all. But compared to the new seasons (Samurai and Megaforce especially) it's a ****ing masterpiece.

I watched up until the turbo movie but was so turned off at that point I quit watching. Green with evil is one of my fav episode story arcs ever

Ninja Steel's premiere was today. I wasn't a fan of the theme song this year.

Well after 6 years of "Rangers together, blah blah blah", even though I really enjoyed Dino Charge's theme, I don't like the Ninja Steel theme at all.

God that was cringe worthy to watch, PR seems over the top nowadays. But she seemed ok.

Check out this article I found:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Stole All Its Ideas From The Party

As most people who watched, or were even vaguely exposed to it, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were based on a Japanese show. What was supposed to be original to the American version, however, were the “secret identity” portions of the heroes.

The American version debuted in 1993. Three years prior, a startlingly similar band of what you could also call heroes had emerged.

The Party was a five piece group made up of Mickey Mouse Club cast members. They soon established themselves as one of the greatest pop groups in history, thanks in large part to the all-time greatest selling single on the Billboard charts – “In My Dreams”.

Once The Party’s formula was established as a complete success, it wouldn’t be long before the creators of other forms of media would take notice. This is what happened with the cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The Party’s guaranteed formula for success was:

*Italian guy who isn’t particularly good looking, but if you were forced to pick the “sex symbol” of the group, it’d probably be him.

*Brunette girl of above-average attractiveness

*Dorky white guy

*Black Guy

*Asian Girl

A few short years later, what formula does the cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers debut with?

*Italian guy who isn’t particularly good looking, but if you were forced to pick the “sex symbol” of the group, it’d probably be him.

*Brunette girl of above-average attractiveness

*Dorky white guy

*Asian Girl

There can be no denying this incontrovertible evidence – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers got all their ideas from The Party.

The world of movies, television, and music may never be the same once this shocking scandal shakes the world to its very core.

I have to agree with what the article is saying...and you can see the formula in Saved By The Bell, California Dreams, etc.

Rewatching Mighty Morphin' in comparison to today's Ninja Steel Rangers on nexflix

Been watching the Twitch stream on and off. On Time Force now, I'm surprised by how much corporate stuff there is. I actually own the season, but its one I've never set down and watched all the way through.

Twitch really made my day at work and in general last week watching old Turbo eps and stuff.

The chat room is wild man... the stuff people are saying...smh....they had me laughing tho...

Two rangers from the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers have a cameo in the reboot film.

Anybody playing this?

It's a cash grab, filled with microtransaction bs of the highest order. But it scratches my Power Rangers itch, and I'm trying to see how far I can come, without paying any money.
