If they had to only have one Black Ranger, we haven't seen Zack in awhile and Bosh did get to return for the series' 15th anniversary, but alternatively they could bring him back as Zeo IV.

But yeah, that we haven't seen Aisha or Tanya is unfortunate.

The original plan was probably to reunite the original rangers. But, well, Austin St John went and decided to get greedy.

He's trying to make his own brand with Legend of the White Dragon.

I applauded his tenacity to venture out and attempt to create a new property after being associated with the brand of Power Rangers for over 30 years.

Regardless of what you might think about JDF as a person. He's been the successful face of Power Rangers promotional as Tommy Oliver for decades.

Everytime he made an appearance the ratings boosted.

Personally I've met him at a few conventions and I found him to be very passionate and grateful to his fans. He goes above and beyond to make all of the fans he meets have a memorable experience. Even going as far as insuring he signs every fans autographed who is in his lineups.

As for Amy Jo Johnson and Karan Ashley, they're both union that would prevent them from doing it.

Union isnt any issue anymore. Power Rangers employs union actors since the takeover. Rorrie D. Travis and Russell Curry (Gold/Red) are both union actors.

90% of the show will be original footage with all Zord footage being Sentai footage from kyuranger.

David Yost/Walter Jones are on set but who knows if its just for a special or an actual episode.

S30 will consist of 10 episodes.

Like Sithborg pointed it out...it is like hybrid season from the early PR again (which I was criticizing it back). Haha.

But I hope it is not like from Goseiger (Mega Force) to Gokaiger (Super Mega Force) situation.
One big flaw in that decision that always made me confuse is how they can make Gosei Black (with his brute strength characteristic in his fighting style) and Hakase's Gokai Green (with his complete opposite and had none of Agri/Gosei Black's brute characteristic) be the same character?

So, I think to combine two different themes and motifs into one series is not a good idea IMO.

True Rocky, Aisha and Adam trio, who are also the Rangers in the first Movie, don't get enough cred. or hype.

Also no ^ slight on the lovely Trini, but damn Aisha wasn't about to match any stock Sentai footage.

I think the bulk of their Ranger footage was original. So now, its just 100%. And you don't get any weird issues with the suited up action you have to work around. (looks at Mystic Force)

Oh definitely. The thing that I praise PR for nowdays is how they seems to make and shoot their own Ranger action now. Also since most of Ranger action in Sentai was taken and shot mostly at Tokyo Metropolitan, it would be definitely weird to see that in PR. Haha.

If so, how do you think of it?
To me the only thing I didnt like is how they back to the 5 male + 1 female members again but this particular series has a serious anime vibe in terms of story and characters. Since I know you are an anime fan too, I'd like to know how you think of this series.

Even the opening song is very anime.

We have to remember that MMPR originally started with the original 5 Rangers before they added a 6th Ranger like Green Ranger & later White Ranger.

In my mind, they reunited, their kid became a Ranger and they all lived happily ever after. I always wondered about their real life relationship though, their body language towards each other is always off the charts.

But I digress, yes, AJJ needs to officially come back into the fold for a cameo.
