you should never not do something in your life just because of what other people think imo it's your life, live it the way you want to, you just have to take into account some consequences. There's loads of kids for strait and normal gendered people to adopt as well theres nothing wrong with wanting to have your own kids

I think the problem with this is that this legal "man" has been injecting testosterone into himself and wants to have a baby even though the fact that he has been injecting testosterone may endanger the baby's life.

It already happened once...he lost 3 babys and a fallopian tube...doing it again is selfish and irresponsible... he should know better.

I know he stopped injecting the testosterone, but the fact that the doctors still had concerns he should have not gotten pregnant again...what a disregard for life.

I don't know how anyone could risk that... knowing in advance that they are endangering their baby's life because of what they did to themselves and still go through with trying to have one despite the fact that they are advised against it.

Its selfish and irresponsible. Hopefully the baby won't have serious health problems her whole life.

This seems messed up to me. I know legally he is a man, but the fact that he was born a woman and has woman parts insides changes it. This kid will get ***** in school maybe but ya know what, That'll just make that kid tougher in life. It's just a shock that someone who went through all that trouble and surgery to become a man went only to revert back to getting knocked up like a woman

I never knock anybody for adopting, no matter what their situation but this is a bit ridiculous and dangerous for the unborn child.

His wife was unable to become pregnant so he did it himself. They could have adopted, had a surrogate carry the child, but they chose not to. I think it shows just how much they care for one another.

With all those male hormones coursing through the body, I sure hope this baby isn't affected by them. I don't question their love for one another, I question their methodology for getting a child.

The "sterile" woman had no desire to become a man. I'm not too familiar with the effect of male hormones on pregnancy, but I would be curious to know if there are any problems that they could cause. I'm sure there are definately risks (even though he went off of the HT to become pregnant.)

ok... listen its not a really black and white situation.. many many many gay guys wish they could have kids whether it means them being pregnant or there partner being pregnant (they wish it could be so) the thought of bringing something 2 people who love each other very much, coming together and making something out of that love is always, and will always be a beautiful thing. does it mean we want to be women? no. in his case he was willing to risk everything to experience that, and i see nothing wrong with that. "what if" is always a hard thing to live with

dude u just proved your ignorance right there, BECAUSE THE STERILE WOMAN WAS BORN A WOMAN WITH THE MINDSET OF A WOMAN. people who go through trans gender surgery just don't wake up one day and go "i want to be the opposite sex" they feel they were always the opposite sex trapped in a body that makes them not that. its a very emotional and hard to understand situation.. just imagine being trapped in a girls body but always having the thought of a man and feeling you were suppose to be born a man.

I don't care what he/she does...he can cut off extremities for love (n/m already did that)t: but I care what he/she does to an unborn child. Not only is birth going to be complicated for having no vagina now, but with male hormones coursing through his body...it might have some ill effect on that child. Why risk it? Why increase the percentage that your child will have a birth defect or abnormality just because you want it to have half your genes? It won't be any more connected to the sterile woman as if it would have been adopted. I don't give a **** that this man was once a woman, I give a **** at the extremity that some people will do to have a child when there are plenty of kids that have no homes.
