Problems with the movie.

I'm sure glad I'm not that kind of Spider-Man fan then.Because I read the comics, and I know Ock made his debut in ASM#3,and didn't take on the Master Planner alias until ASM#31-33.

...Have you ever read a bloody comic? Preferably one with Spider-Man in it?

I thought that doc came when May needed the Iso-36 or whatever.

-There are no above ground trains like that in new york. What the hell?

and

- Spiders are not bugs, harry and others continuously call spider-man a bug or the bug. It would be 'arachnid'.

And that is proof that this is a horrible movie. I can not sit back and watch a movie where they constantly call a spider a bug or when they blatantly use train lines that don't exist.
I know some will say that this is a comic book movie and that we should just accept this, but I can not.

I am moderatly upset and displeased. They should have stayed truer to the comic books. The 616 New York isn't that train-filled. And New Yorkers are louder and more obnoxious in the comics and in real life. They would be screaming and freaking out when they thought Spidey was dead not standing over him, and one of the people would be taking a picture of Peter with his mask off, with their cell phone while he was laying there. Another person would be like "Dude..He totally *****ing stopped a train!! holy **** dude!!!". Because of this drastic change from the comics to the movie, I can not enjoy the film.

If you can, that's cool, but I can't. Wait, what am I saying?! If you don't agree with me then you are not a true Marvel New York or Marvel Trains fan. You also are disrespecting Spider-man's spider-ness by accepting people calling him a bug. Arachnids have 8 legs while bugs have 6. That's basic biology and a movie that is in many ways a science fiction, that's just not right. This is a travesty of justice. I'm gonna sue!!

I always thought bug was a pretty general term that incorporated both insects and arachnids.

I liked the original Spider-Man more than Spider-Man 2. As far as Spider-Man 2 goes I thought the romance stuff was lame this time around. However everything with Doc Ock and Spidey is gold.

my main problem was the web spidey spun at the end for him and MJ to have their little moment in after defeating Oc. It makes no sense at all that it is not sticky at all (for MJ) and looks all wirey and very un-web-like.

i have a complaint also:

Harry tells Doc Ock that in order to find Spider-Man he must find Peter first. Doc Ock finds Peter with Mary Jane in the cafe and throws a car through the window straight at them. Any normal man would've been killed instantly, and Doc Ock doesn't know that Peter is Spider-Man. Given that Peter is his only lead on Spider-Man, it makes no sense that Doc Ock would effectively try to kill him?

I thought about that too, lol, but oh well, doesn't bother me.
