My problems with the movie so far...

my only problem with is spider-man 3 is that.....it ISNT OUT NOW!!!!damnit!
SM3 has a lot of good things going for it:

the black suit story....on film-maybe maguire will get to bust those underused acting chops of his. gwen and capt stacy. eddie brocks inclusion into the series, and imo a strong casting choice-thc as sandman. More than one villain.

I think this movie will be the best of the trilogy, and I have no reason to suspect otherwise. raimi's been getting better, and sm2 was more coherently told-regardless of what you think of the story, I think raimi is so comfortable with this character now, as is everybody, that this movie will shine.

of course, its also the most ambitious of the movies, ...so its either going to be great or really really bad...I dont see it being an in-betweener...

Sam also said he wouldnt do a SM3 because he felt exhausted after doing the 1st one. Then after the 2nd one was done editing he signed for SM3! Just because alot of Villians didnt work in a Batman flick doesnt mean it cant be done. It just needs to be done right! Sam is a genius and will not disappoint. Alvin Sargent wrote this script remember? Plus they've taken plenty of time to prepare for this film. So they a re much more organized and confident than they were in the last film so I have faith Until i see the teaser...

I'm still skeptical about the plot. Raimi's a good director , but that won't save the film if he has a weak story to work with. I repect those who disagree . I hope they're right . I will say , Kirsten looks beautiful in the most recent pix . That alone will get me to see the film

at least you admit to some wrong doing... in a sly sort of way... but still it's sumthing. sorry if the "pagrebowned!!!" image was somewhat distressing. It's meant in jest to represent what actually happened. that was nuts, and It's best just to stop provoking people with namecalling imo. I did feel pag was a little too harsh really... but after reading the fight, I just knew it was coming... and as with cars crashing, it's so hard to look away. that's why I said we should be civilized my friend, and ought leave the silly namecalling to the kindergarteners.

raimi is a comic fan...everyone knows this, we are going to see the characters, such as venom and sandman look a lot like the comics...which is good, cuz a lot of young comic book readers dont kno what they used to look like and it will teach them some history on the characters that they have learned to love now. my biggest concern is toper grace not being big enough to play the role of eddie, but i dont think anyone has to worry about raimi screwing up the movie...he knos what hes doin and and will make sure he pleases both the old and new fans.

Well at this point that actual purpose of her role is unclear,i see her having more to do than just distract Spidey in some love triangle though

* 4 villains is just too much, it will never work, because, at least one of them, is going to be misused and the characters don´t deserve to be disrespected.

Until comic con we don't know exactly who the 4th villain is,many believe it is either Connors in a foreshadowing of SM4 or indeed Spiderman himself when bonded with the symbiote,either would be fine IMO

So, Alvin Sargent wrote the script all by himself? Did Gough & Millar ever touch it? 'Coz most of my fears would disappear if none of the Smallville writers had anything to do with this (for they already proven with the show that they can't make an intelligent plot)....
