Prometheus - Part 2

I for one prefer to watch movies at home, making myself comfortable on the bed, having something nice n tasty to eat...and no stupid persons making noises, standing up and sitting down again, talkin to each other and all that ****. I have a good and big LCD TV, good sound speaker system, I don t bother go to the theater anymore. I have my own theather experience at home. The only reason I still go to the theaters is that I don t want to wait until the films I want to see get released on BluRay. For example, I want to see Prometheus as soon as possible, therefore I will see it on the big screen. But I already know that some annoying **** will happen on the day I see Prometheus in cinema, because these days you ALWAYS have a bunch of stpid kiddis in the theater which have no respect for the film.

Good cinema experiences only ever happen with me with 2 sorts of crowds:

Diehard fan crowds/midnight screening type things. They'll cheer and get excited as fans do where needed, otherwise, they actually WANT to see/hear what is going on so they tend to shut the **** up for the most part.

And secondly, the arthouse cinema crowd. Generally those types of films attract a more intelligent civilized crowd, so when the movie plays, they just sit and watch and make no noise.

Other than those 2 scenarios, my cinema experience is usually ruined by SOMEONE or SOMETHING making noise.

i dont like this kind of obvious forced homages. i am talking about the underwear

Wasent Ripley in underwear by the end of Alien?

You know something funny...I always had a serious problem with Ripleys haircut. Looked so awkward. I don t hope they will "honour" this specific thing. I want modern haircuts for Noomi and Charlize.

i always go first thing saturday morning.

i have the most PLEASURABLE experience, especially when i take my kids to see a kids movie.

but i agree with you. I went to see the new Friday the 13th with about 50 facebook friends through my friend who is a promoter, and we had a BALL. We had a whole theater to ourselves, and everyone yelled and screamed and threw things at the screen!

everyone enjoyed it except my date, she was a considerably younger than me and thought Friday the 13th was a love story. i cried for days after she told me that.

:awesome:

I'll never fully get the hate for it. Dislike...maybe. But hate? Nah.

The best thing about Predators, it has the basic decency to keep it's negative attributes to itself as a film and never tarnishes any other films of the franchise. It's a little too homagey, a little too fast paced and Laurence Fishbourne didn't get enough screentime, but none of that has any bearing on the other films and for that I respect the absolute hell out of the film.

Also Brody was awesome, I deserve an Ash nipple cripple for doubting him.

I like all three leads equally. Royce gets points for being an utter dick to everyone.

Bought this, and he was totally worth it.

So you're telling me you don't want to see Noomi running around in underwear?

Suit yourself. You can just close your eyes during that scene. As for myself I'll enjoy every minute of it. :p

Royce was awesome. And yeah, I loved how much of a dick he was.

"I need to survive whether people survive with me or not I don't give a **** I just need to get off this rock" was pretty much his attitude.
